Louna I live in Austin and everyone here thrifts so the good stuff are all gone. I’m temporarily in Houston and I’ve hit the thrift store jackpot. I went to one and everything in the store on Wednesday was 50 cents. And they had so many sizes, in my usual stores the sizes under 10 are all gone. So my advice is if you ever travel, even 30 miles away, go thrifting. Also try to go to different neighborhoods in your city

amanda njoku value village and family thrift outlet were great. The only downside is that there’s no dressing rooms, which I wasn’t used to because all of the Austin ones have dressing rooms

Sameee I either buy really expensive things or it's from the thrift store/and or discounted. Plus I like to be extra cheap so I go thrifting when my independent stores have the half off everything sale. Also a bit of advice, thrift summer items in the winter and vice versa. The items are usually cheaper when considered " out of season". In the summer I got alot of leather bottoms, wool bottoms, and coats for a dollar each.
