Bob Anderson is certainly good...beyond good, in fact. If I didn't watch the program on my screen but had the sound on I would think it was really those singers. Rich Little was always my fave impersonator, more so when he did the voices of the Golden Age of Hollywood.
Bob Anderson is both the world's greatest singing impressionists and one of the best vocalists in his own right. He is a great man and I have enjoyed many of his performances and with Andy Williams in Branson. His show "Frank, The Man, The Music" is a must see.
Rich Little-now 82 years of age-was an excellent, multi-talented, multi-faceted impressionist! My mother had the pleasure of seeing Rich in concert in Houston, Texas in the 1980's. I had the pleasure of seeing Rich live in concert at the 1994 Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton, California. In addition to the many impressions that he performed as a soloist-he ALSO-along with his female comedic impressionist partner-did an EXCELLENT job of portraying the legendary married male/female comedy team of George Burns and Gracie Allen!
he imitate stars, but he is also a great star self. one of the best i have seen- i love him. It makes me very very sad to see that old videos knowing that all of them are already gone :-(
Desiree J Terrebonne, thanks for your comment....as we are happy and glad that you enjoyed this video....and since you like to do impressions and impersonations also....you could not have a better person to cover than Rich Little....who in our opinion was one of the all-time best....as we treasure our many videos of Rich Little in our comedy section of our webpage....cuz they are absolutely "nuggets of gold" in our awesome vintage video library.
OMG😱...Rich KILLED those 3min. Impersonations...I had to go back and listen to it a few times...I'm a film noir Fanatic so I knew alot of the ppl...he really murdered that...that's what you call Major Talent...give that man his flowers ASAP💐....
The area Rich Little is doing his little number at in the beginning was shot at the "Hall of Fame" walkway at the original MGM Grand Hotel (pre fire) (now Ballys) in Vegas. That area burned and was refurbished during the fire. Very cool!
Rich Little needs to make a movie where he plays / voices over of Claude Rains, Jimmy Stewart, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Bob Hope (not all at the same time though)
TOM JACKSON, thanks for your comment....for since we were not even a gleam in our daddy's eyes when this 2300 hrs. of vintage sports, comedy and music was recorded....and considering the Sony Betamax was the top of the line cassette recorder during the day....the fact that 98% of the original 2600 hrs was good enough to post at www.imasportsphile.com....where we got 1500+ videos posted in the past year....with so many more to go (9,000)... so, bookmark this site....cuz you'll miss many "nuggets of gold" from our treasure chest of vintage videos.

I seriously thought 100 voices in 3 minutes was incredibly novel idea when I saw Brian Hull do it. I didn't realize it had been done before. I suppose Rich little paved the path for all the great voice actors. Brian Hull is still a genius. Rich little was however a legend. I have great respect for voice actors. They are a special kind of people. Each of them are unique individuals. If you are a voice actor you are a beautiful person.
Out of 2300 vintage videos posted on our web page at Imasportsphile....this is one of the "pure nuggets of gold" in our treasure chest of vintage memories....and we are so blessed to have it in our library.
I miss the older tv's when they got the white lines or the white snow. Kids will never know the white snow when the channel you go to doesnt exist or limited channels.
I think he is challenging Sammy Davis Jnr. Can't tell the difference when I close my eyes, simply brilliant. Each generation spans a new impressionist or imitator. Still think Rich Little is the best voice man though & he is still with us. I also thought Jim Bailey was great till the end. They all leave lasting memories.
Light up a cigarette on stage in a public place. There is something that wouldn't happen today.Things we're different then and we didn't whine about it.
@@dakotawatson8229 I think the only verbs for doing impressions (besides doing impressions) is impersonating, imitating or mimicking, so it's all pretty much the same thing, I think. If you say so-and-so does impressions of X or impersonates or mimics X, it's the same endeavor. Bottom line, the audience doesn't care as long as it's good. :-)
What was truly genius about Rich Little was his ability to not only imitate peoples voices....but he could actually morph into those folks personalities....at the snap of his fingers....for we at ImaSportsphile who have posted over 300 vintage comedy programs on our webpage consider Little's 100 different people in 3 minutes to be one of the "nuggets of gold" in our 2300 hrs. of vintage content.
Yes and no. His singing shows he _can_ sing, but the quality doesn't show up performers in that genre, especially in a duet, such as he did with Bing Crosby once. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1wA0IH7mDeg.html We knew who the impressionist was, and who the singer.
