I swear Damon Wayans had some of the best sketches in television history. Homey Da Clown, the hobo with the piss jar, Men On, the illiterate prison inmate. fuckin hilarious.
"men out on the open sea: danger lurking around every corner. And they all snuggled up in them tiny little cabins..." LMAO! His facial expressions were priceless.
The timing these two had was amazing. I used to love this skit. It could work today. I know a few gay guys and they love parody like this. I like when they lose it sometimes. You could see Damon trying not to laugh after the Zoro Snap.
David with them damn garters holding his socks up, they used to kill me back in the day and still do. Don’t be mad Twan, come on, show me those pearlies!!
My favorite of all the recurring skits on the show. This show was one of my favorite memories from childhood. When I couldn’t go out on a weekend as a kid in harlem for whatever reason, this show was my salvation.
So hilarious they were. Even a little racy for the early 90s. Love the line "If you ever have kids, I'll grow ALL my hair back." Used to go to a video bar named "Midnight Sun" in SF, but they never played Men on Books/Films, etc. I wondered always why not.
There's a fashion show that comes on late night and there are two black gay men and a black woman critiquing celebs fashion. Those two guys are actually Blaine and Antoine to the core.
They should bring this back. 30 years later would be so funny. They could do skits going back in time as they talk about or remember some events that happened. I think it would be hilarious
