Hellöö!!
Okay, so here is another cover by me. This time it's a Pink Floyd song. Somehow I really enjoy playing to the Pink Floyd backing tracks I've found. There's a lot of space for you to play around with so to speak!
So... what do I want to say with this one...? Well, first off, I had my Music Man Luke refretted again, because the other guy who "had a try" on my guitar wasn't really that skilled, even though he claimed to have refretted a couple of hundred guitars... actually, it looked like shit when I got it back from him.
Having the guitar hanging on the wall beautiful - but not really playable have been a real suffering... snyft
Anyway. This time I let a real guitar craftsman have a go on my guitar and WOW!! I'm in fret heaven! LOL!!
Jonas Fagerlund is tha man!!!!!!
About the playing, it's improvisation as usual, and as I said above, the guitar is a Music Man Luke with a Floyd Rose unit from -95, recorded through a Pod XT Live straight into the computer and Cubase!

It depends on your ears I think. IF you have got good ears, it will be much easier. If I put it this way - If I had to know all the theory behind what I'm playing then I wouldn't have gotten this far. I don't even reflect over which key a song goes in, I just follow my ears. For a good technique you need to practice - yes, but musicality either is in you or not. Don't know how to explain more precisely than that. Thanks alot btw! :)

the beauty of the GT 8 is incredible flexibility in tone and options to create any sound you might want. I own one, and would rather the XT to download premade patches online. I don't know my effects well enough to create a good sound with the GT-8 but if you have the knowledge and patience you can create an equal or superior tone

Hey, I just got a PodXT Live and I'm looking into recording with Cubase like you're doing now. The only thing on my mind is how would I hear what I am playing when I'm recording? Do you have monitors plugged into the Pod's output?

Lovely playing, really good. The only drawback is the Pod that you are using. I just find that they make the guitar sound a little stale and dry. Dont get me wrong tho, stunning guitar playing!! ;-)

Dude I am a big fan of your videos... No I am trying to be as good as you... I am planning to by a good guitar processor.. But Im confused now becoz ppl say BOSS GT-8 and POD XT live are almost the same but BOSS GT-8 is better in many ways... is it true?..what would u suggest me -- boss or pod?

Jaha, nu finns en sneakpeak på Reaper's senaste hit! Tyvärr blev gitarren "clean" hade väl för lågt ljud ifrån poden (kommer ut från högtalarna precis som övriga mixen) spelade iaf in med digitalkamera, så du kan njuta av lite fast and flashy finger moves typ! ;)

***** No, I do all adjustments and easier modifications myself. My guitars don't need so much work if you know what I mean. I don't do refretting and that kind of stuff, but pretty much everything else... What's the problem with your instruments? Why not try it yourself? There are plenty of guides on the internet you know...
