Hello again. This video was recorded in the summer of 2006. I had my MusicMan Luke refretted and also got the floyd rose replaced because the old one was really worn out. I never had Pink Floyd as my favourite band, but happened to find this backing track that I really like, so I did a little "happy-to-have-you-back"-song with my loving guitar! RU-vid doesn't like the widescreen format, so you have to put up with the wide-shrink picture. Promise to record in 4:3 in the future! Thank you for watching! / Fredric

This is amazing. I have been listening to this very nice piece of music for the last 8 or 9 years or so, and I keep coming back to listen to it once in a while. How amazing is that.... Have been following Fredric for same amount of years, and he's definately a big inspiration to keep playing as a non-professional musician as I am. Thanx Fredric :)

I've watched this so many times and it's still very interesting to watch, it's by far the best play I've heard from you! It's so damn hard to vary the play in 9 minutes but you do it very, very well! The title of this upload says it all .. the key word here being IMPROVISED ... he's just jamming to the track .. and it's a great song to groove over Gilmour himself never played the same leads on it .. Some comments said they hear Steve Vai style but this is pure Lukather style with a few pinches of Satch in my opinion, I've seen Lukather twice with Toto and the guys a complete LUNATIC on the guitar ,he's in my top five tasty shred monsters and Cedriclll has got it goin here ! Great job mate

Dude...that was awesome. You definately have a tasteful style and love the tone(s). You're right...the melody makes it a great lead instead of just a fast lead. Check out my tone on my keyboard solo on "Time" or "On The Run" from Pink Floyd.

2/2 and the piece is in the key of E minor with a few variations. This whole vid is filled with AWESOME solo guitar stuff, but if you made a backing track with one low E note throughout the whole jam on a synth and a simple, little different beat and then played this jam over it then the music in this vid would be 100% YOUR creation! this is not sorrow, it is better!

Yes. It was the output jack on the guitar. The "tongue" who presses against the tip of the tele plug needed some bending in order to give better contact. Now it works like a charm!
