In SO Cal, they started a pretty good one. 30 booths and only $5 to get in. They have a bar so its comics and cocktails. Couldn't get my wife to come to any comic shows. She comes to this for the drinks. 🎉

@@DAMASOSTUDIO It isn't a tent. Its a lodge and there is a bar inside. The venders are in the other room. People drink and buy comics. Its great! Chatsworth CA. Once a month.

I have to say I don’t really understand what he was doing with the big wheel. You buy something you get a stand and you get the same money off what’s the big deal just give the money and get the same $50 off

I'm pretty sure that at the very beginning of the video you flipped quickly right by a Savage Sword # 1. I would have scooped that book up in a flash ! These tent sales look like so much fun !

Not just that but a lot of ebay shipping costs have sky rocketed. I wanted a ff 387 the price was right at a dollar but 5.95 shipping!? Sheesh😬

Nice selection. I’m going to the fan expo in Toronto August 24 hopefully get some bronze and silver age fantastic four avengers and Captain America that I need. It’s very expensive especially there.

I hope there is another sale at the end of may or in june next year when i am in Pasco county from the Netherlands. The plan is to buy at least 1 high grade CGC silver or bronze age big key book. Budget is allready there.....

Whenever I find a complete bronze age set, I'm buying it. So many great short runs back then. That John Carter I would snag pretty quickly. As a side question, how do you find these sales locally? What's the best way other than word of mouth?

Joe is such a showman with the spin-the-wheel (or Chocolate Wheel as we call it here in Australia), the deals, the "$25 off this or $100 off that" bottles, even the old cash register. Still, there's no denying the quality and range of his comics and the hot humid weather. I'm no fan of the latter but I love seeing the former, especially the rarer books like the newsstand Spawns with Angela and the McFarlane Marvel Age. I always really enjoy when you cover Joe's sales but I'm sure you needed a cold drink and to sit in front of the a/c after, Angelo.
