Welcome back! I'm so happy that you decided to come back. I totally understand what you're saying and I agree that family should come first. You have to do what works best for you and your family. Looking forward to more videos from you, especially the decluttering ones. I'm still working on decluttering and your videos always inspire me so much. I doubt I'll ever be a minimalist, but maybe one day. Right now, I'm just hoping to be more minimal and more mindful. ☺️

@@Janaleigh I totally agree! That's why I currently do a minimalism game every month. I've been doing them off and on for years. I don't always complete them though, but I do my best. This year, so far, I've been able to fully complete both my January and February games. I am so proud of myself! I'm currently halfway through March already. I'm hoping to complete this months, as well. Even though I don't always complete a minimalism game, I still do one every month to see how much I can get rid of. I find it fun and it keeps me going because I love a challenge. It also helps to make me more mindful of what I'm bringing into my house. That way, I'm not cluttering it up again after getting rid of so much stuff.
I really respect that, I love that your looking out for your kids :) I'm excited to see what you come up with. I mainly watch your videos because..how do I explain it.. I'm trying to emulate the practical, grounding approach I see in you and I'd like to see more in myself. Sometimes I feel my energy is exciting but too chaotic and the way I think about things can be stressful? ..For lack of a better way to explain it. So I'm interested in just seeing your approach to things in the home. It really helps ground me and gives me a very straightforward approach. Although my son is all grown up now, and I have I think way too many hobbies. Sometimes I wish I could live more simply but I have alot more books, stuff for cooking, crafts etc lol. I don't know if I could ever do youtube. People should have a life lol. But I understand some enjoy doing it. Being a mom myself, The time you have with your kids growing up is precious and goes fast. That is #1 for sure, but yes you do what makes you happy. Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks or does.

Hey lovely, its really nice to see you posting again on this platform. I agree with your decision to exit in the first place, but also I think you are right in that there can be a balance between hobbies and spending time with family, and you can do your hobby while keeping your whānau safe. I certainly don't judge you or have any sort of feelings about you changing your mind, or posting your kids in the first place - that's your prerogative, and it would be so nice if we lived in a world where are harmless sharing was viewed in the same vein, but there are some really unsavoury elements out there :( Lucky for us, you have decided to come back, I really enjoy your budgeting videos and motivating declutters.
How am I just hearing this? Welcome back! I completely know what you are trying to say. I also just created my channel as a little hobby. I do have kids as well but will not be showing them either or any personal stuff. Just having something to do aside from motherhood to keep my sanity haha. I also deleted most of my social media accounts bc of the privacy issues. There’s just too many scary things and people in the world and I too want to make sure my children and family stays safe.

I was just thinking of you the other day and wondering how you were getting on. So happy to see you back. I'm just starting on my decluttering/minimizing journey and you've played a big part in me deciding to do that. I don't know if it's just me but I find it hard to find NZ content. We all change and thats a constant in all of our lives. I think it would be more strange if your content didn't change and grow with you and your whanau. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next.
Soooo very true, part of growing up is changing! Yeah I struggle finding nz minimalism content as well I see heaps of kiwis on TikTok and ig but they’re all entertainment/comedy creators not so much minimalism or slow living ones which is what I’m into watching! ♥️♥️

Also, if you don't already know the channel farmhouse vernacular check it out .. she keeps her family life completely seperate, she actually did a video to say that yes she had a baby but that she wasn't going to be sharing any info. I didn't even realise she was pregnant because her she never mentioned it!! So it's totally doable... you only need to show what you want to. I never even saw a baby nursery or a pregnant belly because she never chose to show it so i was floored when she said she'd had a baby and wouldn't be going into any more detail. Welcome back anyway!!!
