A number of years ago I drove our 36' Renegade motorhome towing a trailer with a pickup on it across Hwy14 from Ranchester to Cody. That was an adventure.

I used to run double belly dumps from Sheridan across to Shell & up to Lovell. You gotta have some respect for that mountain or she'll eat your lunch! Hahaha. Glad you made it over safe! Be careful out there.
@@307Life The guy at my pick up location told me not to do 14 or 14 alternate. When I asked him why he said you’d have to be crazy to take either because it’s like a 10% grade… guess I’m crazy cuz I took 14A straight up lol
Hahaha, it sure helps to be crazy! Sure is some beautiful scenery over that mountain! I was up there again today & not sure if there was any construction going on when you went up but, in case you go back over it there's 12 miles of paving going on & single lane escorts. It's on the Lovell side right where you really start climbing up.
Great video. That had to be a hard climb. You go on those skinny roads like I use to go on. I drove a International day cab with a 32ft trailer sometimes a 45ft flat bed. Check out my utube channel and you will see some of them Don Whittaker RU-vid channel
