After driving our daughter Reese down to move into her new place in Florida, I definitely took every opportunity to spend every last moment with her before flying back home without her. It was such a bittersweet, emotional time and I could hardly stop crying. So proud of her and excited for her new adventure out on her own, but definitely missing her like crazy already!

I’m crying while writing this… Stephen I just want to tell you how great of a dad you are. I am sure thousands of your viewers thank you for showing what dad should be. How a dad should act, support, and love their children. Not every child like me have that role model dad that can be their basis in choosing a right partner. I just wish every child have a dad like you, your children are so lucky to have you!

When Stephen started crying when he said the pose Reese did reminded him of when she was a little girl 😭😭😭😭 so sweet!! I started crying with you! All your kids are so lucky to have a wonderful dad like you and Amanda as their mum! The kids adore you! We have raised 4 great kids and the hardest part is letting go! It’s a grief process for us as parents. Your family changes each time and will not be the same. It is also what we all worked for! Give them roots and give them wings! Having adult children who become more friends to us, is a beautiful process. It is tough, I feel your pain

Oh it is a grief isn’t it? But also beautiful to see the kids achieve and do well despite the mistakes we think we make as parents. We obviously did something good when we see them achieve and start living their happy life and making their own stories. I have 4 too. Would definitely do it all again ♥️

The parting scene reminds me of when I went to college in another city as an adult. My mother sent me to school early in the morning, and on the train I was full of reluctance for my loved ones and a vision of an unknown life. Looking back now, I know this is the only way for everyone to grow. Be brave enough to chase your dreams and take care of yourself, girl! When my son moved to another province it was very difficult!! Its a 3-5 day drive or a very expensive 4 hour plane ride!! Facetime is a wonderful thing!! Thank god he's home now!!

Good Morning Miller Family! It’s always tough to see your kids grow up & move away. But, it is exciting for them to gain their independence. I remember when it happened to me. I have 2 kids & it was a huge adjustment for me. Things like grocery shopping & cooking for myself. & Just not having other people in my house. Thank goodness I still have my dog to keep me company. You are going to have to repeat that so many times. I only had to do that twice. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦

Stephen and Amanda, I feel your pain. We raise our kids to be hardworking, upstanding adults and we send them out in this world reluctantly. They make us very proud but gosh, it still hurts to say goodbye. My heart goes out to the two of you. Stay busy and spend the time with the ones you love. Make sure to spend some time with Ethan. I think I have a better idea about how my parents feel with me moving out and over to another country even. I moved out about 21. I lived in a small town, hard to find a flat with people your age. Edit. Omgosh I'm sobbing 😭 😭 Lincoln's excitement and joy of you coming home. I'm so touched with the amount of love he has for you. Sobbed again while watching Lincoln giving the camera kisses and the look on your face Amanda. Pure love!!

Awww I couldn't help crying when Stephen started crying in the car. Those daddy-daughter date videos were so precious ❤ I moved out this past August at 22 so I relate. It's a bittersweet and exciting time. I'm currently back home for break, enjoying the family time. Will be praying for Reese as she starts this new chapter! ☺

I was thinking 'Gosh, Reece seems so young to be moving out to live on her own so far from home'... then I remembered that I moved 170 miles to do my nurse training at 18... I survived and thrived and you have given Reece a good upbringing so I am sure she will too. Take care xx

This reminds me of my journey starting med school long way from home. It was so sad and scary and the hardest part was i lost my father few days after moving, so we couldn’t say a decent goodbye. My family struggled a lot and my University days were not that enjoyable as i had to work hard and earn money. But now i know everybody grows differently and with difficulties. It's just part of our life! Best of luck Reese! The world is awaiting for you with all the wonders!

Aww! I have been watching you all for a few months and you guys have been a breath of fresh air in such a dark and crazy time in our world. I feel like I know all of you! I could just eat up Lincoln and Ethan. They are so adorable!!! I was sad when Stephen dropped off his Daughter. It was very sweet to see him show his emotions. The love you both have for your biological and adoptive children is so wonderful!!!! I was adopted myself. It's tough when, as a parent, it first hits you that now you have to learn to let go. it can sneak up on you, gradually, like being in denial. But as you slowly let go, you are realizing you are raising a confident, respectful, bright, and loving young adult. Hello beautiful Miller family i feel your pain its so sad when one of your children leave home. Two of my boys left within months of each other but it does get easy. It also gives you something to look forward to when they come to visit. Also Reese is so so lucky she has such a lovely caring mum & Dad that love her so much and siblings as well. My husband cried for weeks after the boys had left but it gets easier. Take care love from the uk x
