I grew up with your Sonic reacts/watches videos, to the point I could probably recite the creepypasta reactions from memory. After a while I had stopped watching. I had grew up and was watching other content creators that shared more of the things that I was interested in. Then last night I saw this in my recommended. It honestly made me happy to see that one of the creators from my childhood was able to finally be comfortable in their skin. I am so proud of you, Eris. May the years treat you wonderfully and leave you trembling with life.

It felt really cathartic listening to the last part as I was getting dressed to go to a job interview. It felt like a call to action and I was a soldier gearing up by putting on my bra LOL. Keep being you, though. As someone a little over a year into medical transitioning, i know how rough it can be to get started, but just like you said, everything is worth it to become who youre meant to be!

Im so happy you made it through all of that I've been a fan of yours for about a decade at this point since 2014 It's good to see you being fully yourself unapologetically and in a much happier place Its sucks being bullied for not being how people think you should be. I've been there and it's not a great feeling at all The fact you pushed through all of that while also making some of the best Sonic plush videos really shows how strong your are. It's who you are, and I don't care at all. People shouldn't be there to judge you. All that matters is that you are comfortable with yourself. we lo you Eris, i get how you feel because i went for something like that, i’m a transboy, at start i thought the reason why i felt bad was how i felt about people, you know, my sexuality and all that, it made me struggle a lot and even lose some friends, then i understood that the problem was how i felt about myself, about my body, that i felt uncomfortable, so i started wearing different clothes, i as well hurt myself, i didn’t wanted to suffer anymore, but didn’t wanted to ask for help since i knew my parents didn’t really had an opinion on the lgbtqia+ community that would make it easy for me to came out for them, i almost killed myself too, even my psychologist wasn’t much help, i was unhappy at school and home, having to wear feminine clothes almost all day and being pointed out that i should be more girly, someone literally grabbed a freaking bun, put it in my head and said “so you look more feminine” and i can’t really remember the other stuff that happened, but after a while i came out with my family, at start it wasn’t that good but my siblings where good with it, then my parents started to treat me like a boy as well, and my school calls me by my name, and even tho my relationship with my family its better, i still feel bad to the point of wanting to hurt myself, and it makes me think i shouldn’t because everyone now treats me how i want, but i have to remember that my life isn’t just my transition, that i still have some other problems, that if someone ever told me or anyone else that its not valid for me to feel this way because i already solved the biggest problem, then fuck them, just remember that if you feel that way too, ask for help, we all are here for you, love you girl :)

I’m truly happy for you, and I’m glad you’re out of that harmful environment and that your mom accepts you. That’s great to hear. I wanted to let you know that you coming out helped change my viewpoint on trans people recently. Before just a couple of months ago, I was honestly a massive transphobe, and I was part of the problem. Your transition was the first step in me getting to where I am now. I watched your sonic’s misfit adventures series a ton and especially when I was younger, I think since 2013 so quite a ton of time now, which is something I respect you for as it has entertained me a lot. Until your transition I never, at all, looked up to anyone, or had any respect for anyone that was trans and saw trans people as a group of people that I could just ignore. And until you transitioned, I did, and by ignoring them, all I had known about trans people was generic transphobic stuff from the people around me, including my own family. I wasn’t actually acknowledging trans people, or even respecting anyone that was trans, until you transitioned. After you transitioned, initially I was confused. Honestly, I kept subbing and unsubbing, going back and forth between “This person was a big part of my childhood, and I respect them” and “But they’re trans!!” This was the first time I actually had to think about trans people while not simultaneously being in a conversation where I was being told about how “bad” trans people “are”. I had to actually think instead of being told, since I respect you as an entertaining person. I wasn’t able to immediately let go of my hateful thought process, but you made me start questioning “What am I doing, and why am I even saying these hateful things?” This was a very important first step for my growth. Over time after your transition, I slowly became less and less hateful towards the trans community. I was still a transphobe at first, and admittedly I left transphobic comments elsewhere on RU-vid, but I was now actually listening to what trans people were saying to me in their replies to those comments. I wasn’t ignoring them anymore, though I was still being unfairly cruel to them. For the first time, I was actually listening to trans people themselves rather than ignoring them. Very recently, after I had listened to some trans people and their stories, especially the first I heard (you and yours), I finally came to the conclusion that there was just no point in continuing on with my blatant transphobia, and that I had to grow up and accept the trans community instead of cowardly ignoring them so that I could stay in my echo chamber of amplifying transphobia. I’ve fully let go of my hateful, transphobic viewpoint, and you’re a big reason for the change. I’m forever thankful for the impact you’ve left on me, and your impact on many, many others too. I will remember you forever. I’m happy you’ve turned out so well after coming out of such a bad, unaccepting environment. You deserve to be happy and accepted!!! Thank you Eris! Eris, you have literally inspired me since Youth when I first watched your Channel from your First Vid of you unboxing the “Banpresto Mario Action Figures” after that moment, I viewed your Classic Mario Bros. Series and felt totally inspired which drove me to making videos of my own with my Plushes and Figures on my 3DS Camera (which got deleted either due to my anger and what I went through in 6th Grade or because I just felt it was cringe at some point when I was growing up) and the more I viewed your Channel, the more inspired I became until now. I am a Junior in High School, I returned to my Old School where my Old Friends still went to and I’m striving and doing good in classes and I’m making actual Original Ideas and plan to make a Series of my Own where my Dreams I had since Youth, will come true. But watching this video and revisiting my old inspirations makes me feel somewhat good and bad, some of my inspirational people have fallen, or have moved on or are still going after all these years. And from the looks of you, you seemed to have struggled but still kept going, and I’m glad you have. I’ve had some of the thoughts youve had as well, but eventually I’ve grown from them, but no matter what, even if there are changes some make in life, I’ll always support those who’ve inspired me to become who I am today. As a gay guy, this really reminds me of what happened to me. People hated who I was, especially my abusive mother who pretended to care about me. It was a horrific time, but now-in-days I'm better, albeit mostly isolated since most of my generation around where I live are not just bigoted, but also very annoying & tend to follow whatever stupid trend comes out. I only have 2 real friends remaining & only one of them has been around for a while. The rest, such as Biophoenix, Invisiblecaller, Nildrohain, etc. I only know of online.

Hallo!- I am not someone that has been here before. I'm not sure who I am. I'm busy trying to figure myself out- and the whole childhood story is somewhat the same- other than the bullying. My home situation is that my parents are not too accepting about all this stuff- other than my dad maybe but I'm scared. I've came out to my mom as Bi and she just said- "Well you're still figuring it out" More so with the tone that she wasn't comfortable about that. She wanted me to strictly keep to her standards.- It's not to say I'm trans. It's not to say I'm anything that current me isn't. I just don't know.. where to take myself. I've attempted 4 times in my life- 2 because I felt uncomfortable in my own body. 2 because I didn't feel loved. Right now I'm doing great! but I wish I had the opportunity to spread my wings and find everything out. The time will come. Hopefully sooner rather than later. And I hope for you things go swimmingly moving forward!

I believe your journey of being trans will get strong and self-reflection is always good to put even if it's been a year since that day.
