Instead of working on Generals 2 EA is trynna scrape the bottom of the barrel. This game already belongs to COMMUNITY and just formally to EA!!

I still have those discs, but installing them via wine is still a pita if it works at all. Not as bad as with ra2 tho.

I have 2 questions. 1. If obligatory buy/subscribe the ea play so i can play all the games? Or only buying the ultimate collection pack is enough to get all the games? 2. We can play it online on steam?

Buying the ultimate edition is enough. At the moment, from what I have heared and read, you can play the steam version on gameranger. cnc-online should soon be available to us

The games work very well in the steam version from what Ive heared. Some Games need fixes to work 100 % correctly. So far Ive tried cnc1, generals, zero hour, renegade and red alert 2. All games worked like a charm for me

I just tested Renegade, Red Alert 2 and Generals + Zero Hour. All Games work without having to do any configs

C&C is not working anymore with the GenTool for me, i played last Week a round and it still works and this week i dosen't want to work with the GenTool .. There was a smoll patch on the EA Launcher.. Is there any Solution for this problem ? XD

The steam version is missing the cnc-online support. Currently the devs of Gentool and genpatcher are working on a fix. I will post an update once the fix is done. Then everything should work just fine, including online. So far what I heared and read is that you are able to play via gameranger with the steam version at this moment

Hello, there seems to be some kind of bug in your version which I have not heared of yet. Normaly the save files are located in c:/own documents/your username/Command and Conquer generals Zero Hour data/Saves Can you check if the save files are there in this folder?
