Shoutout to Jacob for letting me vicariously get back at my Dad for beating me in every game ever

I think this episode encapsulates why I love the channel. Normally I'd be upset over such a one sided match, but seeing everyone trying to keep the vibes up really made me reflect about my own pod. Jacob's deck just clicked into place perfectly, there was no other way to play the match out, and everyone respected that, frustrating as it must have been. Massive props to the end too, after such an 'optimal' play through, only fitting to fall on one's sword.

Kibler is one of the most likable Magic players on any channel. Also helps he loves dogs. Keep up the great work.

My next Commander match will for sure be spent me trying to flick my commander into my deck. Progress update to follow 😂

38:08 since the abjure was targeting Valakut awakener it wasn't on the board to be bounced by his creature, so Brian didn't have to recast and could have used the 3 mana to maybe do something instead

I love Minn, the card is just so impressively under the radar. you can see people's gears turning as they realize the silly little mono blue deck is actually the biggest threat at the table and is about to 1v3

Haven’t watched it yet but I see that Brian is playing Agatha again and I really been wanting him to give it another try since it didn’t work so well on the command zone 😅 this makes me happy

Love watching Xolo and Jacob, especially because I run multiple of the same decks as Jacob and can see cards that I haven’t thought of including, like Monastery Seige.

I love that yall were helpful to the newer player. Yall were very nice and patient explaining the rules. As a player who has only been playing since March of the Machine, I fell hard into MTG. I have a 4 different decks that are done. 1 is cEDH and the others power vary. But when I play with veterans of the game I constantly have to ask, “what is that card”. I feel like such a pest sometimes and I have not always met the most patient people at my LGS.

Can't tell if this was light power level imbalance or just nut draw + going first from Jacob to pop off so hard. And not in a "how dare you!" way but naturally curious about it. Remora, Ashnod's Alter (even non-infinite), Mystical Tutor, Fierce Guardianship, etc. Brian was popping off to, but answerable. Jacob just steamrolling it, which they did turn into a really fun ending and good vibes. Also, Teferi plus Minn was wild. Make four spirits, loot 4 each turn cycle.

Since the 'Then, if you control a creature with power 7 or greater..." is part of this triggered ability, you wouldn't be able to cast the exiled card. Correct me if I'm wrong
