Raptor of the Mists takes care of the outrageously-difficult-to-dodge charge attack, and of the flying, spiraling thrust attack too. I could actually have used it more often during the fight, for example to dodge the last attack of a combo and punish with a jump attack (I did it only a couple of times).
This was my actual first win against this boss, it wasn't a fight made on purpose to be uploaded to RU-vid. I just thought people would find this tactic useful so I then decided to upload it.
That's why I did so many mistakes still.
"Your build has high arcane, why didn't you use bleed/poison?"
Because this character is fire dragon-themed, it has arcane to cast strong dragon spells (especially one of the DLC ones) so it doesn't use bleed or other statuses, it uses fire weapons and spells. This boss doesn't give you time to cast many (slow) spells though.
Before finding that one new dragon spell in fact this char only had 17 arcane because it was sufficient for the others, and had 65 faith to make the flame art infusion stronger.
The physicks flask had the Crimson Bubbletear and the Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear.
