Commanders fan here…I do not want Bezos. Harris/Rales are DC natives, SEEM to want to do right by the team, and actually know how to run a team…Bezos would only want it for himself. He knows nothing about running a team. He can’t even run his own without problems. If it was an uncapped sport, sure, fine, Bezos could outbid anyone. Can’t do that in the NFL.
This type of situation is almost in the presence of selling the Washington franchise based on the poor mediocrity of Dan Snyder and the rest of the organization!
Magic is a minnow trying to perform at Sea World.... he's rich to the common man but even if he put his entire net worth of $600 million that wouldn't be 10% of the Commanders
Gasporino is a lying wannabe insider who made up every source he ever labeled anonymous. The fact that he is not in jail for libel shows the people whom he defamed don’t even worth he’s the time. Such a little “man”.
Magic in loved, lol. Team sells for 6 billion, if Magic had 1 percent that is 60 million dollars, you think Magic has 60million to piss away for 1 percent? Magic would only be the black figure head
Magic Johnson’s actually pretty rich. Had a pretty good playing career and then obviously after he retired he’s done a lot of good business deals. Granted he’s not a billionaire. But he’s still pretty rich.
Besos is in line with the old guard of owners. Let’s not forget he spends millions to stomp out unions and Amazon drivers piss in bottles to save time. He’s perfect for the NFL
@@artandarchitecture6399 they are, and they aren’t. You don’t need a majority to be “The Owner” of a franchise. You need a plurality above 30%. So, largest shareholder is what actually matters here anyways.
Bezos, if truly interested, would want a team that needs a stadium (and a name). He would rather take the discount on the team to put toward his own stadium vision.
Hmmm idk, 50 more years of history, a larger and more important market on both the media and local patronage fronts, their division rivals have a much deeper history and larger following. Generally speaking the Ravens or Redskins get the fake support of the POTUS to make them seem like one of the common people. The Redskins are objectively worth more. That’s why the Seahawks would be cheaper
What I don't understand is why is Snyder NOT forced to sell the team...but Jerry Richardson was forced to see Carolina Panthers... Snyders allegations were WAY worse than Richardsons!
If bezos becomes an owner of an NFL team and makes money from Thursday night football, he’d be on the way to making the first monopoly in pro sports. Makes money off all the other teams with distribution and networking.
Jeff Bezos is one of the greatest enemies of our country His DAs as an example have created such crime and BS it’s sick Ur a clown the vast majority of Snyder bashing came from the Washington post which Bezos owns Amazon is partners with NFL so them boys targeted Washington since that’s where Bezos is and smeared the owner Bezos is an enemy of the state
Magic is investing 60 million which might cover costs of the parking lot for the new stadium. Essentially, about 1% ownership. They are using him for name recognition and marketing. Let the clown show begin. We don’t need hype, just victories.
He's not selling to Magic and his team because he's the face of the ownership group. Jeff group is new and will over spend like the dude for the clippers. Either way it's a win for the franchise.
Bezos could use this to his advantage in ways you couldn’t imagine. All of the artificial intelligence, machine learning and compute to run a state- of- the- art organization.
It's not just the highest bid ....if some dictator offered 20 billion the other teams are not approving that sale....it has to be a bid the owner will take but then it has to be someone the other owners will approve so yah not necessarily the highest bid
Magic is no MJ. He’s already annoying talking about the sale. We need a real brother like MJ who would sit at the big boy table with his big boy pants.
Unfortunately no one wants to buy the team because it’s not worth 6 billion. It’ll take billions to turn it around. Any new owner will be starting at a deficit.
@@DeontewattsS Yeah I think that’s a NBA team but he doesn’t own AMAZON anymore he just has some stack in it so I believe he’s allowed to bid for a NFL team.. idk about the NBA.
@@mryeetproductions no it wasn’t he was getting back lash if he kept the name it’s bad for business what don’t y’all understand lol y’all talking like he gives Af about the name he cares about the bottom line
It also came out that bezos said he would sell the Washington Post two by the commanders and I think Kevin Durant said he wanted to get in with the Matthew McConaughey Jay z bundle
Snyder’s group paid $800M for the team, they’re being offered over $6B, I’m taking that offer if I’m DS, I predict the NFL will collapse within the next 12 seasons or sooner, along with the NBA and MLB, I think the NHL will be the only league to survive.
NFL could vote to force him to sell if they wanted, but either he has a lot of dirt or the other owners don't want to set a precedent of this being an official thing. He's def selling it just depends on when. Once we stop giving him headlines for him to jack the price up because he's an all press is good press kinda guy he will sell the team. So just ignore him like he's not there and I bet the team sells, or he's asking for like 20B and no one wants to pay him that, cuz if it was only 6B I think Bezos would have it by now, something we don't know is holding it up and I think he wants to start a bidding war like 6B isn't already a lifetime for your family tree type of money, like a million bad decisions you're still rich kinda money.
Why on earth would Snyder care about the "relevancy" of being a known Dbag and what part of that spotlight do you think he could not buy back with the 6B he's going to make selling the team? Guy can straight up purchase the athletic and ringer and make it so they only write slam pieces about the NFL, or produce an extremely high quality show for Amazon or RU-vid where he sits in a robe and talks badly about Goodell and advertise it so aggressively that any football fan sees it every time they go online, and then pay athletes to come on so that ESPN has to talk about it, and still have several billion dollars to spare if he is so worried about being the NFLs villain
I quit watching football years ago, but still pay attention to what's going on. However, if that P.O.S. Bezos buys the Washington franchise, I'm done with the entire sport.
