I’ve heard from multiple different people who work in 5 star hotels that Common is the nicest human being on the planet. He remembers names of workers who have service jobs and personal stories of their lives and checks in with them. He’s legit all he says he is in his soul of positivity.

The way they talked about the music industry back in the day. The way composers, recording artists, and writers would go to the studio, write and record their songs, get a couple bucks a day, and get not a dime of the profits when the songs blew up... That's exactly how each and every one of us work every day. We all get up every day, go to our jobs, produce something for the owner of the company we work for, get a couple of bucks every 2 weeks, but get not a damn dollar of the profits that came from our hard work.
