I don't know how true this is. My father is literally stuck fighting for his unpaid salary for almost 3 years. He changed his workplace but his previous company is in a legal battle. They are ready for a settlement but are offering peanuts compared to what he deserves.

A company I worked for still owes me salary. On being asked, they were like they are in money crisis and don't know when can can they pay me, it could even take an year. (they have no intent of paying back and playing it safe here and they never denied paying me) Please let me know, how to save ourselves from such companies who are paying victim card?
