Fred tatasciore is hulk steven blum is wolverine and Mark Hamill is joker every character has a voice actor that fits and is iconic 3 are no exceptions
Me,Batman Brave and the Bold's Batman's voice is way real and true. That is the real Batman's voice. What I mean is this:The voice of Batman from Batman Brave and the Bold is the real and true Voice the rest are really boring.
R.I.P. Kevin Conroy, An Absolute LEGEND and the BEST Batman voice of ALL time!!! Can't believed he passed!! He was one of the BEST aspects of what made BATMAN who he was in media for DECADES with his super iconic voice!
@@AxleTrade not the worst tho, George Clooney’s Batman is the worst, but it’s mostly cause of Schumacher, It did give us the Bat Credit Card tho, so that’s a good thing I guess
Juan Hernandez It’s the same for me with WW and Susan Eisenburg. She’s got that classic, smooth Wonder Woman voice that I always hear when reading Wonder Woman thought and dialogue.
Im probably gonna get shit for this but I think future generations will prefer Weller to Conroy, especially considering how good some of the dialogue was in Dark Knight Returns. A lot of my love for Conroy comes from nostalgia for the 90s cartoon and I think the same goes for a lot of people. Troy baker also did a great job in the telltale games.
He's the best in my opinion. (Only in Young Justice tho not Under the Red Hood) Weller only works for his Batman but he's 2nd in my opinion. The rest sound too gravelly and make me want to unplug my headphones.
Its gonna be a shame when Kevin Conroy passes on, I mean respect to all the other actors and some of em did pretty Damn good but come on......Conroy is the God of Bat-men...edit rest in peace king Kevin you were the undisputed GOAT
Kind of late response on a two year old comment but I agree, Kevin Conroy is THE Batman voice for me, growing up with the animaed series and enjoying the arkham games from rocksteady. But credit where credit is due, Troy Baker has a great Batman voice (the telltale games and lego Batman apparently, wrote this comment as the video progressed lol), and a worthy successor, so to speak. And, this might be controversial; Ben Affleck was a great Batman in Batman v Superman
***** He's a cool younger Batman and has more anger and a sense of less emotional control than Kevin Conroy. That's why he's better to play a younger Batman and Kevin is better to play a Batman in his prime and is in control of his emotions. Where Conroy's Batman would talk loudly and scarily when angry, Craig's Batman would yell.
Bale sounds incredibly badass here. Why didn’t Nolan just instruct him to use this voice instead of modifying it post production? He sounds intimidating and different to his Bruce Wayne. It would’ve worked perfectly. I personally didn’t have a problem with TDK voice but it’s clear to see that Bale is certainly capable of delivering a better Batman voice as seen in BB and the game adaptation. Shame Nolan chose to go a different direction.
Conroy in The Animated Series and Bale in Batman Begins are easily the most well balanced voices in my opinion at least. A shame we didn't get the latter in the rest of The Dark Knight trilogy. That scene in the Batcave with a Rachel, or when he saves her at the train station are my favorite examples of what it should have been in a normal conversation at least.
Bale was the perfect Batman voice in Batman Begins and the videogame, though i didn't have much of a problem with the voice in TDK since he didn't sound silly in certain scenes.
4:34 I don't think that was a fair example of Peter Weller's performance; the dialogue sampled in this video was when he had to speak up and address a whole crowd, but if you hear him speaking in the typical brooding manner, it's a great voice.
Am I the only one who REALLY enjoyed Diedrich Bader’s performance in Brave and the Bold? I think the grittiness of his voice perfectly fits with scenes depicting a more kind hearted Batman, especially the speech at the end of the show.
Still the best episode of the whole show “Chill of the Night” was the only time Diedrich met the now fallen Kevin Conroy and Adam West, may the 2 Rest In Peace and encourage us to be our own heroes in some retrospective and to never lose hope when things are bad and Change is too hard to accept, based on our views in life.
For me it's like this. Some of these guys are perfect for different ages of Batman. Rino Romano for late teens to earlier twenties Roger Craig Smith for last twenties to earlier thirties (After the first few years as Batman) Kevin Conroy for last thirties to mid forties (When he's in his prime as Batman) Peter Weller for late fifties to last sixties. (An out rusty Batman coming out of retirement)
That's the way he did his Batman voice for the first film as well. It didn't change until The Dark Knight and Rises. Makes sense that he kept it consistent since the game followed up immediately after the first film.
honestly I think Roger Craig smith has the best batman voice, he's more aggressive, and it just sounds more like what I imagine batman should sound like, with kevin Conroy he just sounds like Bruce wayne the whole time
When I was a child I couldn’t imagine Batman’s voice being any different from Conroy’s. A lot of men did a good job, but seriously, Conroy isn’t the best Batman voice, he IS Batman.
Kevin Conroy was one of The Best Voice Actor Since Batman The Animated Series. He been a voice of Batman for a long time since he’s appeared Cartoons, Video Games, TV Shows, and Movies. Now is been a heavy heart to Say Goodbye to Kevin Conroy. Thank you Kevin Conroy for being part of our Childhood and I hope you’re be living In the Afterlife. Thank you Kevin Conroy for Everything (R.I.P Kevin Conroy Nov. 30, 1955-Nov. 10, 2022)😢😔
blaq7427 I disagree the dark knight movie I thought was amazing and Heath Ledger's performance was amazing very inspiring, though I could agree about the dark knight rises
Everyone has their own opinion how ever if you look online top ten batman movies you will find the dark knight as the best batman movie tied with mask of the phantasm
0:27 - It brings me extremely sad news that Kevin Conroy, THE Voice of Batman has passed away due to cancer at the age of 66. He is Vengence. He is the Night. He IS BATMAN!! And he will be forever missed. 😢😢😭😭😭
Per the norm, the liberal Hollywood web sites and blogs blew up yesterday when a nine-year-old boy asked Donald Trump if he's Batman. Trump responded to the youngster with an affirmative: "I am Batman."
1. *Kevin Conroy* (specifically, his work from 1992-1996 of TAS being my absolute favorite era of him) is _untouchable_. His moments searching for criminal files in the Batcave, his trade offs with Alfred, Robin, and the interactions of his whole rogue gallery... top notch. He knows how to be that cool, silent and methodical Batman, and not the overly hoarse, angry and bitter depictions in later years by Bale and other portrayals. Now, from 1996 on he kind of lightened his voice a little, making Batman sound a bit too much like his normal Bruce with a more stern, direct tone, and... I don't know but I wished he would have kept it a bit more early TAS in those eps, but that's not to say he wasn't and isn't still, to me, head and shoulders above the others who voice Bruce Wayne/Batman. 2. Jason O'Mara 3. Roger Craig Smith 4. Adam West (for Silver Age) 5. Bruce Greenwood (he's interesting though)
The reasoning that Conroy made his Batman voice sound close to Bruce Wayne's was because he wanted to show how Bruce is falling into the abyss that is Batman, that earlier on in his career, he could keep the personalities different but all the years being Batman has destroyed the mask he would put on of Bruce Wayne. Personally, I love his voice more in the later episodes of TAS, where they changed the animation, and the Justice League. Those were my personal fav out of all his working, including his current Batman acting. I like your list except for Jason O'Mara, he's probably one of my least fav voice actors for Batman, seriously didn't like him AT ALL.
xunit94 Is that really true? I always did find it odd how his voice did not change anymore. It does explain a lot because in Gotham Knights or season 4 of TAS, his personality is not as in the first seasons and somewhat darker.
Throat cancer Batman that retires after 3 years of being a vigilante and that could barely fight? You should start reading comic books if u put Bale up there
I do remember Bale's Batman voice in the video game not being as ridiculous as in the movies. Even in the movie Batman Begins, his voice isn't bad (sounds a little too forced), but then they really took it over the top for the sequels for some reason. That voice has essentially become a meme.
Why Jason O'Mara's Batman isn't appreciated enough, I will never understand. I love how he sounds and I'd definitely say he's the best after Kevin Conroy.
Powered By Crossiants it’s a list and he wants to know which batman voice is our favorite but Kevin conroy is unarguably the best so there’s no reason to continue the list because I can’t imagine a single person on this big green earth would think someone else to be a better batman voice actor
