I love how you used the "history of the entire world i guess" intro script, i recognize that anywhere.

I still remember the day the servers filled with skyblock players unifying in the hubs, donning pig pets and pig related armor and things we had received from his mayoral term. I vividly remember my confusion as I had not yet heard the news. I am not an active skyblock player, even then I had only gotten online to collect minion items, that moment was one of the truest forms of loyalty I've ever seen for anyone. The amount of respect given to techno is deserved, he not only provided us content for so many years, he gave so many of us entertainment in the darkest times of our lives, but also was someone to look up to. The joke everyone likes to say is that skyblock is the worlds greatest game to hate, but I can't hate this game anymore.

At 7:59 Deo found out how to *survive* the damage from the Magma Boss not how to 1 Tap it, so he would just wait for other people to kill it instantly while he’d already be in the center to collect the rod.

small correction: at 1:12:43 you say Marina is the most simped for mayoral candidate. This would be true if not for the Dante event in which players were candidates themselves. And everyone knows Technoblade has the most goddamn glorious elbows in existence.

1:28:16 I don't know where you got the info that my AI dungeons project was ever released, but it wasn't. I discontinued it because it was too much effort to continue working on due to the frequency of bans, and to this day I am still the only person with access to it. In the description of the video where I showcased the project I also explained that it was not complete; it could not do entire dungeons on its own though it was getting close.

Technoblade was (and still is) my hero. He made me happy when no one else did. He proved you can achieve anything as I watched him grow from my niche comfort RU-vidr, to one of the biggest Minecraft creators. He made so many people happy, and is the reason I want to do the same. I never wrote a message to Technos family when hypixel had it open. I tried time and time again, but I just couldn’t. I still haven’t watched any of his videos since. Heck i don’t know if I’ll even be able to watch this one yet. I want to leave my thanks to him here somehow though. Technoblade never dies. He lives on in our hearts and minds. Even once he’s been long forgotten, he’ll still live on through the effects of his actions. Technoblade is the reason I’m here today. He didn’t cure cancer, or solve world hunger, but he made others smile when there was nothing else to smile about. And we can do that too Thank you Technoblade ❤

26:25 Small correction, but the bank was actually a ponzi scheme, not a pyramid scheme. A pyramid scheme is when an investor convinces other peiople to invest and those people convince more people to invest and so on, hence why its called a pyramid scheme.

I think the dictionary of obscure sorrows has a word of a nostalgia for something you never experienced although I can’t remember it now. I remember watching Techno’s videos on skyblock. Every so often I wonder how different things would be for me if, four all those years ago, a chose to open up the hypixel server and delve into it. Maybe nothing, maybe everything. Either way, I am happy for the time I spent experiencing and learning about skyblock even though I have still yet to play it. For the time I, all of us, have had to experience this silly block game we all love so much in all its facets.

Honestly i comment like every 10.000 video i watch, but this one deserves it lol Not only so yt recommends u, also, its insane how much work u have put into this video, respect! I started skyblock after it got released but then took 3 year break,(started 1 year ago, but then took another break) now im starting again, im very outdated in most of the things, but im starting to figure it out... Its hard bc my main language isnt english, and some of the tutorials are really hard to follow lmao but its ok... lvl 83 now, and starting to enjoy it! Techno is the reason why I started Skyblock and took a break for a long time (about 6 months). Everyone who watches this video knows, there is no need to explain, techno is a legend. I was browsing in Crystal Hollows when I received the sad news, I left the game that day and couldn't enter the game for 6 months. I don't believe in God, but I hope you've gone to a good place.

I remember grinding combat levels in the deep caverns to get to the end when it first came out, but then miserably dying to endermen and zealots 😅

Watching this from someone that haven’t played on hypixel server in years, is too old to have experienced and watched Techno videos (Rip btw), and just generally missed the whole side of the game is just insane and baffling to me how much both the playerbase and the devs pushed this plugin powered server gamemode to become a legit in depth mmo. I legit, most of my time in the game is on the technical modded side of the game and had no idea of the existence of this whole sub fandom within the game. Minecraft is such a limitless game man. Entertaining video, even though hard to follow at some parts but I guess it just inevitable

26:25 Technically that's a ponzi scheme, not a pyramid scheme. Pyramid scheme are about recruiting people with an entry fee then sending them to recruit people and giving them a part of the entry fee the people they recruit, and then repeating with the new recruits

I would also like to add that a few years before skyblock on hypixel came out there was another server called islandmc that had the minion plugin. The server owner hykurtis got fed up with running the server so he sold it to steven the owner of skittle mc which im thinking sold the plugin to simon. I have the last current version of the "diamond minion" plugin after the server was taken down provided from hykurtis before he left indefinitely.

Damn, I remember playing hypixel skyblock. That was the shit back in 2020. It reminded me of my Wynncraft days, just grinding for a couple days to get infinitesimally better stats.

I think power creep has gotten a lot better recently, wither blades (3 years old), Terminator (2 Years old), and Crimson Isle items (1 year old) are all useful for different parts of the game and none of them significantly outdo the others.

Hypixel Skyblock is practically an essey in the kind of chaos that would happen if Mojang coded updates faster. Skyblock releases content so quickly, but there's tons of bugs and complete pandemonium most of the time.

Everytime I log on, on skyblock, it just makes me depressed, seeing no one from the past playing, the guild I spent lots of time chatting in dying, remembering all the memories of playing it with other people, stops me from coming back, me being behind in progress from all the new changes doesn't matter to me, nostalgia does Yeah so like it's kinda weird collecting my minions every 2 days(I have minions which fill up quickly, and if you don't collect them you loose a lot of the profits, don't ask why I collect them after having quit)

pretty sure power creep is when they add the hyperion but it makes the aspect of the end suck so they buff the AOTE with double stats but then its too op so they buff the hyperion instead of nerfing anything and eventually everything is so powerful its a problem

Farming was a massive form of inflation, I think it's pretty reasonable to make you use at least stairs instead of teleport pads in your farm designs, right? I do pumpkins/melons and making a new farm that used stairs really wasn't a big deal I can still farm while watching a movie or something.
