That said, reducing density (more) in curbing feels sooo different from reducing density in edge for me I think thats why i kept struggling to mix because i had waaayy too much of a closed vowel xD i was going "ooo" instead of maybe "OA" or somethung

I believe Greg has deprecated the term "flag tension" in favour of "tight mode". It's hard to say without hearing it whether you're in tight mode or not. You can certainly use some creak tension without going all the way to tight mode.

@@VoiceStudioEast HAHA, ik he depreciated the term but its so addicting to me, he went from flagolet tension -> Creaky tension -> tight mode (recently) I think i have an emotional connection to flagolet because its a habit that i gained while humming and prior to watching Greg's video to it i thought: Wow this makes my voice sound higher :D Ill trrry to use tight mode but i think ill have a tendancy to say flag tension lol. That said! Sound wise i dont think it has the stretchy sound of flagolet tension nor does it create the tight sensation in my uvula flag tension does. I wonder if i can look in a mirror to see if my uvula goes: (Byebyeeee!) when i do it. (Btw do u know why the uvula just peaces out when you do flag tension? its very funny to me

The term "flageolet" has been dropped from CVT in favour of "Falsetto", which will be discussed in my video on Neutral.

But there absolutely is time for it, just like there's time to decide on volume, note duration, ornamentations etc, which constrain the choice of mode anyway, thus simplifying the decision.
