Not to take away from what you mean, cause this song, bruh, but gotta say this is also how we described The Last Of Us on PS3 lol. We say the worst part about the game is we'll never experience it for the first time again. Same about Snuff though. I believe he changed a lyric in this performance from "her" to "him". I think he's thinking about Paul when he plays this song.
@joshalbright251

Just for context, the reason he looks up to the sky while singing and starts to choke up is because he's singing it for his late band mate Paul Gray.

Anyone that has been in a painful breakup understands the depths of the line "it took the death of hope to let you go". I was with my girl for 23 years and 41 days ago she figured she could do better than me. I didn't realize we were supposed to be looking for an upgrade the entire time we were together. If that is what love is then I don't want it. 💔 I have been listening to this song every way possible and I take solace in him bearing his soul, because it reminds me I am not alone in my grief.

Great reaction. I love this performance and had it on loop for days after first hearing it. If you listened to a lot of Slipknot you sure know Spit it Out at Download festival? If so, please check out Corey's acoustic version from the same show in London. I promise it's hilarious. Bother is another great version at the same concerts.... to be honest... the whole London show was amazing. If your looking for other surprisingly emotional covers and song versions... You probably already know The Sound Of Silence by Disturbed? Have you ever listened to Falling in Reverse? They have a song on their first album called The Drug In Me Is You which they had redone many years later. It's called The Drug In Me Is Reimagined. It's amazing how they transformed it from a fun song to a masterpiece. You might want to check it out. Another great acoustic song is Watch Over You by Miles Kennedy from Alter Bridge.
