sad how there are so many vehicles in this game, regardless whether they are tanks or planes, where if they move up 0.3 theyre completely useless but if they move down they're insanely OP, and vice versa of vehicles that suck at their current BR but if they move down say goodbye to that entire bracket of BR's

I did the "bleeding speed tactic" with my F40 Sabre against 2 Drakens and 1 Viggen yesterday in SIM. Looking those planes fighting for energy under you is one of the joys of my life.

While this video helped me see this plane isn't nearly as strong as I thought I still think Gaijin should take the time to rebalance the air spawn mechanics for planes that can carry a2a missiles. But that will probably never ever happen.

It's funny to me that control stiffness is what makes this plane a rate fighter. There needs to be some kind of overhaul of keyboard controls so that you don't have to feather the elevator control to manage your speed in a turn.

how can you go mach 1 at 1 k altitude? i tried it on the testing map and it warned me that the wings might come off. and i think its hotter than the ardennes map you used it on 🤔 snow and shit compared to jungle… was it because of the bomb pylons? i had dropped all of them.

Yeah this thing is wonderful in the rate fight. When people lemming train after you its a wonderful feeling to spiral them all to 200kph then watch the ensuing barrel shoot.

Im kind of debating to myself wether grinding to high tier is actually worth it because I’ve been grinding the Swedes for 3 weeks now and I’m one vehicle away now from rank 6 but compared to my cl13b mk6 At 9.7 in Germany I’m kind of having more fun with j28 and j29 at 7.7

the mach .95 constant speed turn is also possible in the Q-5 Early and Q-5I/IA. Which makes them incredibly broken with airspawns at 9.0. also, if you need to squeeze some extra turning performance out of it, it turns a lot faster with the airbrake out and afterburner off, even at speed where it would normally be locking up

Hi Defyn! I have a relatively off-topic question, seeing as the video is about a high tier jet and my question is about a rank 3 japanese fighter. I've skipped over buying the Ki-61-I Tei for a long while, as most reviews and discussions I could find regarding this plane were mostly negative, saying it was just an inferior version of the Hei variant, having worse max speed, arguably weaker cannons and a smaller ammunition pool. But finally I've decided to buy it, and I was quite surprised to see that it gets an air spawn in the first match I played with it. I had looked at the plane's stat card long before I researched it, but to my amazement I've never noticed that it's classified as an interceptor. It's the only Ki-61 variant that is classified as such. I wanted to ask whether it always had an air spawn, or if it got the airspawn recently, as the reviews never said anything about it having an airspawn. I think it might actually make it more viable to play than the Hei variant, as it has a lower BR and an airspawn that actually makes up for the fact that it has the flight performance of a 3.3 fighter.

This thing was filthy with an airspawn at 10.0 I can't believe they let that happen for so long. Its still undertiered even now after its airspawn was taken.

I got the impression that this plane was OP reading the forum and reddit but it turns out is not that good after watching this video, people freaked out way to much. Can you upload more mid tiers planes, i love seeing you doing dogfights.

Great plane really for SL grinding and clearing the Chinese tech tree. I have 527 kills to 105 deaths in this thing roughly 280 games 71 percent win rate. Left with the F5A to grind and I’m done with the tree. Personally from my experience the team is good enough that you don’t always have to 1v1 things, but if there’s a need to you can dogfight almost everything at your BR, this thing performs so well below 900 along with its turn rate and energy retention

Do you think you could revisit the F-86Ks in the current meta? I’m a little curious if they’re worth trying, because I hardly see anyone use them anymore.

Honestly I recommend running min fuel. Climb to 6k and conserve fuel till I find out who I want to engage. Its engine is still pretty strong with afterburner off.

Any tips for this plane? How did it change over time? I'm doing really horrible with it.

I've been trying to grind my way too the Mirage since it came out and my progress is moving at a snail's pace, as every single French fighter below the Mirage sucks ass, I get frustrated then start playing a different nation. So when this came out, and has the Magic missiles, I needed too get a little taste, and broke out my wallet. I don't regret it. The A-5C is a good plane; definitely not great, the guns kinda suck, but the magic's are... magical. It makes up for it's aero compression at high speeds by being quite manueverable at mid range speeds and the higher end of low speeds.

sorry m8 i have to disagree with you on the j35a its missles are just there to fire away as fast as you can so then you can jump in with those 30mms which are the real threat of the j35a. its not hard to bait people into turn fights

I don't die in the Draken....... but when I do it's a magik, Launched from a Chinese jet. Watching all those lead pursuits on you are painful. I'm like "Stop cutting the turn!" 🤣

If they are giving these things airspawns, why not give the P51 an airspawn so maybe I could get up to altitude before my team is gone.

The GSh-23 actually got buffed and actually does damage now. Velocity is still shit but it generally kills what it hits.

I'm finding the GSh-23 to be a lot better on the Bis after the patch, now it seems like it actually does damage

Thanks for making a video on this plane, and imo it isn't overpowered. I know NR-23s have been sorta buffed, but a noob in a significantly heavier MiG-19 isn't going to be that smart, and good player's are not that hard to beat either, and if I have trouble I just play China or squad with China at the moment.

For how much you hate on the gsh. I love the thing. I dont know why but it just works so well for me and i dont understand why everyone else hates it so much. I would even go as far to say as one of my favourites to use. But again i am someone who prides myself on accuracy and dogfighting and i dont struggle as much as most to get those pilot snipes or wing slices

I have ptsd from laizhou bay. SU7 (airspawn) was at my base my F-2 sabre was still rotating off the ground..... to then get TK'd by the sams sites. don't ask why cus i sincerly lost the little amount of trust i have in gaijin.

I thought this was going to be like a nosed mig19 but i test flew it, the maximum was 9G at 980 IAS. The only good point of this are the magics.

I jumped in my premium Hunter a couple days ago to try grind some planes. Got matched up with these makes my jet completely obsolete nothing I could do.

That J35 clearly just gave up. There were so many things he coulda done. But offensive against those A5C nerds is to drag them down low. Magics are ez to dodge if you catch it at launch. Hes probably just a level 5 facebook ad gamer boi.

The a-5c isn't op and it shouldn't receive an uptier to 10.3. It, in conjunction with the other strike aircraft at jet tier, should not have an airspawn

I loan him them as soon as I can to get rid of all that drag the four of them produce. The j35a is a true sleeper at 9.7… I have over 250 games in it avg 3 kills per match and over a 70% win rate…. Needless to say I have straight FARMED over 12 million SL IN THREE DAYS… but y’all keep sweating all over this A5c…. And if you try to call my bluff I’m more than willing to post a screen grab of my performance in it. I will admit it takes an experienced pilot for sure… but if you have that… you are an absolute terror every match. 😉
