That book at Bonerattler Post just teaches you how to make the skulls on sticks recipes. Neat, but unless you're into decorating, not all that useful. Also, the building you thought you could enter, while hollow on the inside is empty. I used Dirty Dirty Cheater mode to clip through and the building is just decorative. Also, thank you for showing me where Crocodiles are. I've been looking for Fangs forever to make my Darfari armor. Even if I don't use it for stats, I still use it for cosmetics.

Thick hide can be found up the major river when the terrain changes(elephants), early brimstone in a pale hot stop on the map with brimstone rocknoses and in the Blood red stone area but is more dangerous for early game. The brimstone you found I missed and I looked on those Island, looked for Siptah brimstone not Exiles brimstone. The Magic tome is behind and below where you were and is a fight to get to, so steel weapons and epic armor would be needed.

I am not playing Conan Exiles rn but just love watching your videos and how you progress lol. I just like the way you play like a "beginner" but you know how to, unlike others who play like hardcore meta defining like or act know it all making you feel like a noob. But with you it feels like growing all together haha.

A perfected steel Katana would be great.

I found the khari water skin on the 3 skull siptah lizard in the southern area.

The journal in Bone Rattler post on the pit = Skulltaker. You missed a Cooking Specialist I also. you have to climb and it's marked where two darfari banners are. It's easy to miss.

Definitely gonna need another source of brimstone too, I don't have my gathering turned up like 'some people'.... OK, found a handful of Brimstone Rocknoses... middle of D6. If you go to skull ridge, camp close to your starting point, you can see the trail up to the top of the mountain.... highest ledge up there... like 8 of them.... with your superior gathering might, probably another 500 or so!

Found a bit of a dungeon today, right near that slope where you go up to find those rocknoses...tomb of something..... pretty easy, two chests in there but didn't need a key for them. Dropped a lot of paddings

Nice episode Angaar! As with some other comments, I too think the crafted Katana tier could use some love and expansion. I love the flavour of the Katana, but it's a little less than impressive in combat from my experience...even the Legendary. Cheers!

Great video as usual Angaar! As someone mentioned earlier there are Brimstone Rocknoses but they're pretty tough. There's also a 4th area of Murun you haven't found yet. It's not essential but I'm guessing it could be useful later on in the game. Incidentally, there's lots more random goodies (tools, weapons etc.) to be found in chests on what I call "The Thief's highway" (Aka the rooftops of Murun - some of these chests have poison gas cloud booby traps so be careful up there) As for hostile Shalebacks, the occasional corrupted/Demonic one can spawn randomly along the shore South of your base. If you want me to tell you about the 4th part of Murun let me know or maybe you just want a hint? I really enjoyed watching this one but I have to remember not to yell at my PC when I see you doing something that I think you're not doing right. Cheers Angaar!

(DCWeston) I satisfied the 'gather brimstone' step on the same island, but got most by mining rocknoses at the tan hilltop at D6. I also found Conan's Atlantean Tomb nearby, but I'm not ready to explore it.

I never checked that larger island. I will make my way down now and have a look. Two things came to mind. The top of the cauldron? Perhaps there's an opening that looks down? The other thing was whether or not one could build near the structure. It might be a good place for a starter base. Lot's of iron, brimstone next door and the jungle is also right next door. I have started over because I finally got my new rig sorted and am starting everything fresh.

weird.. that book should be learnable... and the recipe book is on the top of the hill where the archer is.. look up and you will see a banner on the top of the hill and beside the banner is a cooking recipe i believe.. 😅 and you are actually right.. there is no entrance in that lemurian structure.. at least i've not found anything of interesting there...

I'm not sure why they created the improved waterskin. Carrying two regular waterskins is less weight and gives more water.

Improved Waterskin? Explain how? Regular has 10 uses and weighs 1.12. Improved is 12.5 uses and weighs 5.50. I think I would prefer 2x sealed waterskin for 20 uses and 2.24 mass. Its not like you will ever run out of inventory slots without beast of burden anyway. Love your episodes though. I had been watching the 2023/24 beginners guide episodes.
