Conan Exiles | Savage Wilds | Ep.8: Bad Mistake!!! 

IMPORTANT: If you ever go back to the swamp to learn sorcery there'll probably be at least one cat statue, and yes, carrying any heroic treasure across the map to your base IS stupid and not worst it. Instead: carry a treasure coffer (15 shaped wood, 5 iron reinforcements) across the map to the treasure. Build a small platform, place the coffer, a furnace, campfire, merry-go-round of "friendship", disassembly bench etc... Go capture a treasure or two, exchange them for 5,000 coins (weights 50, takes up 5 inventory), smelt the coins into 166 gold bars (weights less, takes only 1 inventory slot). Run the dungeon and learn sorcery while it smelts, come back, possibly capture another treasure or two. Carry the bars back to your base, turn them back into coins (coin mold or exchange treasure). Hire people at taverns, buy supplies in Murun, pay for fast travel, make alchemical base, just carry a treasure coffer with you, it'll be easy to get more.

Poor Steve he was gone before his time. I really didn't like Kevin at first, but he won me over when he went up on the cliff and took out the archer. He may be OK as a friend. I think I read somewhere that if you lose 2 friends in on one episode, you have to do time chained in the dungeon, you came pretty close. Great episode. Thank you.

27:53 - Always check the papyrus scrolls. If there's a stack they're probably just scrolls, if there's only one, it could a consumable to learn an emote.

Gotta admit, it's more fun seeing you actually explore and hit some rough spots rather than the easy mode we see on EL. Looking forward to seeing the series continue!

I think this Episode has to be the best one yet! It proves that the SW mod is totally unpredictable at times (I've restarted the SW adventures twice - I only went about 10 to 15 levels each time just to get used to it and I'm not really any the wiser) Incidentally, When I finally got a decent Thrall, I named him Tomishaw (after Tommy Shaw, the guitarist of the band Styx lol) Great work as usual Angaar! Be sure to explore the mountain in the area where you begin ... The Pit if I remember correctly. There is a sweet Darfari camp there that actually drops down into the Pit.

If you beat the boss in the bottom of the atlantean tomb you get the recipe to make the better armor and weapon kits that you normally learn in the warmaker dungeon. Also there is a sword in the fire that is a legendary weapon, something like the papyrus blade or predatory blade. You are correct about Dunaman of Dragoon, he is a guaranteed spawn on top of that little tower, I like getting a few of him for my purge base defense usually.

My Clan just completed our run of Savage Wilds. We explored almost all of it. Take your time and you will find the secrets. A Tip: use your Bronze and buy Bearer Thralls when they come up on merchants list ( RNG). Keep checking south beach and Murun. When you find and tame a T4 bearer it makes the time exploring waay better! Also picup all papryrus scrolls... emotes.

For dark caves, bring or make a glowing goop torch. They work under water lighting everything up, and easy to repair with goop and bone.

That big green area up next to that horse taxi you found in the top left of the map. In my opinion is an awesome place for your main base. It's has resources around and plenty of room to spread out and build.

The atlantean king room is very interesting. First there are two recipes located there. The first _ which is for eladrium tools _ is located at the base of the pillar to the right of the king as you enter the room. The second is for Grandmaster Weapon smith. It is located on the lip of the alter the king is in front of when you enter. Climb up on the alter and you will see a sword in the flames. This is a guaranteed spawn of either the sword of Crom or the papyrus blade. There also three chests. Two flank the alter and give out small amounts of sometime useful stuff. The third is on the wall about half way to the stairs and usually has some seeds or other vegetation. There is a possibility of a special box with a fragment of power. Also, in the water room there are four nodes of brimstone. Love your posts!

The other place for brimstone is a bit more dangerous to harvest. Rut Roh, you found the Judge a little sooner than you should have. Careful on the dungeons in Savage Wilds, most are full of bosses and end game content, enter at you own peril.

Sometimes the Bosses only punch for some reason, but usually they will weld a weapon.

Loving the play through I think I will give the mod a try. Thanks for the videos.

Couple of things. First of all, no offense but I enjoy seeing you struggle a bit : ) You almost always just breeze through everything with no setbacks, today's video was a bit more relatable to my game! In the tomb, where you downed the first boss, you failed to chop him up for a treasure box key, don't forget to do that. You also might consider setting your horse 'follow' back a notch or two, he is getting in the way a lot and in the camera shot I noticed too....tks.... just went back there and now I'm not sure if he drops a box key or not! In the room below, in the water, there is some brimstone too.

the atlantean king has the silent legion armor on and yes he is the same as the judge on siptah.. and yes duneman is a 100% guarantee spawn at that spot... thing you missed at the last archer you killed beside that archer the cliff if you climb up you will find the normal climbing boot recipe... the epic one is at another location

Well, that's certainly more brimstone than you get from the small island in the South. I will be leaving next week and won't get a chance to watch for a while, but will catch up when I get home. i was clapped by the atlantean king as well the first time i encountered him... rip my dancer lmao.

My favourite Conan experience was on a clan server where we were all pretty n00by and I discovered the witch doctor and powered stuff and I built a wizards tower in our base labelled 'Not a Necromancer Lair' and filled it with undead and big lizard skeleton things too. Fun times. Witch Doctor is also my favourite feat, I wish they put it back!! Fair play for showing the slight cock-up, shows that even the best make mistakes!

When you entered the tomb, I said to myself this is not going to end well. I made the same mistake. At least you and the horse got out alive. My trip didn't end as well. Takes some serious armor pen to kill that guy.

Oh my...! lolz The Atlantean Tomb. It's all in the name. Savagely savage (usually) One of the several really unpleasantly challenging dungeons on SW - but not the worst. Not at all by farSAvage Wilds is very cunning. Some treasures hidden under rocks and the like. Murun is also filled to the brim with stuff. The North is plin 'orrible - as is the far South. The East and West are not much better. The off-map stuff truly terrible. And the hidden Gates, portals, and the like. Savage Wilds is what the Exiled Lands wishes it could be when it grows up.

to bad you lost one of your guards... i do wonder if full authority tree with the warpath perk so you can have 2 would help more or maybe sorcerey with 3-4 zombies?? edit: why dont you pick up som of the deco stuff? would your base not look nicer and more lived in with some carpets and pots? edit 2: soo you can make the undead kappas and hyenas?! even the sceleton warriors? always wonderd if they were better than the zombis or just redundent with the sorcery... love the series :D

corruption powder is made from grinding down corrupted stone, an you know thats stone ichor and demon blood lol
