Great video! I'm looking to switch my current carry gun from a CZ SP-01 to something a bit smaller and polymer framed. I am leaning toward the HK P2000 or a USP.
Thank you! The P2000 and USP are both really solid choices. I was very close to going with a P2000 myself but ultimately chose the P30 as it handles just a little better imo. From what I've heard the P2000 works really well for concealed carry as the grip texture doesn't catch on shirt fabric which is an issue I've ran into, albeit only with a select few shirts, with my P30.
@@Feldmutze I'm definitely leaning toward the P2000 myself, mainly for the 1913 on the frame as well as the more slick grip texture. Price is also a factor for me. A P2000 is generally a couple hundred dollars cheaper than a USP compact.
It had less-than-ideal penetration and expansion on a gel block. Though I should note it didn't do terrible either. I just noticed my father hasn't uploaded that PAC-T test on that Hornady Critical Defense & Duty yet, but when he does (probably this month - early next month) I'll link it.
Thanks! I haven't handled or shot the P365 but everything I heard about it is that it's a lot better than the P320. As far as the P365 X-Macro Comp though in particular, I dislike the comp aspect of it as that's an ingress point for dirt/debris and also every ported/comped handgun I've fired has been quite blasty.
@@Feldmutze would you prefer the HK VP9SK? I live in CA and they recently just added the VP9 to the roster still debating which one to get, or the P2000
I’d lean a lot more towards the VP9SK between it and a P365. Even though I don’t personally own one, I’ve shot the VP9 (not SK though) a lot and it’s an extremely safe & well designed handgun. I think the VP9SK is a better choice than the P2000 as it’s easier to modernize with optics-ready slides directly from HK, it has more picatinny slots so it can fit a wider ranger of lights, and the grip design is very comfortable. P2000 is hammer-fired though if that’s something you care about, you could go either direction on that.
I've heard of some people attempting that on the P320 but most airsoft have enough differences in the design to where it would be impossible or prohibitively difficult to fit an actual FCU into the airsoft grip for it to doable.
