It's rare that a classical pianist and a boogie woogie pianist can hit it off on the same piano, but this turned into one of the best random jams ever.
I have a routine every morning......I get up, fix a cup of coffee and get my daily dose of boogie and classical by playing this video. I can't decide who is better. Vail, Colorado
People pay 50quid to go see the garbage Hollywood is putting out... opera requires insane talent by every person involved. They dont recognize talent because they dont recognize art. If you worked your entire life at it, and could not create it, its art. I could dedicate my life to singing, and I will never come close to Pavarotti, I could dedicate my life to writing music, and could never make something close to any piece by Mozart, I could practice my entire life, and not be able to play the piano as well as either of them. This is art, this is what enriches us, challenges us, revives us, its beautiful. Current popular movies and music do not meet this standard. Its copy, paste, sell. And until the pendulum swings and the larger audience desires talent, we are stuck with a dead spot in art history, I would argue going back to 2005
Think about it. This is a window into how people are chasing happiness. They make big life plans that aim to increase their happiness. But instead get stressed and sick chasing these goals while the nuggets of happiness besides the paths are being ignored by them.
Most people are having to go somewhere where as the lovely young lady in white ....they might not be able to stop with so much happening in life n can only in joy it when there a time slot for it
Brendon, I am fifty-seven years old and I've always wanted to play the piano, in February this year I watched some of your videos, bought a piano and started learning. I live in Russia St.Petersburg.
Изучайте с преподавателем Вадим) за пару лет реально до старших классов музыкалки дойти и понимать принципы импровизации, лады, тональности , аккорды , ступени и т.д)
Kinda sad that we need to compliment people for doing so. Unless a plane departure in less than 15 min, i can come up with few reasons anyone has to stop for a minute or two.
My mother did both! I so miss her talent/hard work. I unfortunately had brain damage in infancy and could not do this. I have fine motor and gross motor deficits. However, I can and do appreciate others who enrich my life with music.
I have another observation to make... There is not so many musicians at this level of proficiency who will genuinly enjoy and freely share their talent like this lady does.
So true. I once saw an installment of David Letterman when Paul gave up his keyboards to a concert pianist in the audience visiting NewYork, She played Brahms I think, Amazing. Dave asked Paul if he could play that, he said he might be able to fake a few bars, but that She is the REAL DEAL! A life time of training and education and Natural Talent. She really was amazing. 😎
People don't recognize talent when its near them or they need to get the wax out of their ears!!!!! AWESOME TALENT AND THIS IS GOOD FOR YOUR SOUL💞💞💞💞ESPECIALLY THE WAY THIS WORLD IS RIGHT NOW😔😔
I wouldn't say flawlessly, she became way too fast and got caught up with the flow on the trickest part... Yet, Fantaisie Impromptue is incredibly difficult to master and still has done a pretty good job nevertheless.
Je vous ai découvert il y a quelques jours, et votre musique me fait du bien. Entre le boogie et le classique, votre virtuosité n'a pas de limite. BRAVO !!!! 😆😆🖐️🖐️😃😃😊😊
I'm 75ish and remember growing up in the 40's and 50's listening to songs like this (less Boogie) on our 100 disk Seaberg Grand Player (a ball room model). That is 78's and 100 is something else.
How can those people just walk by, I know I couldn't . Both Brendan and the lady have incredible talent , wish I had come across them whilst traveling.
@@richardbutkis they say it’s called Metal, because it’s the only thing harder than Rock… Classical is just as hard, anyone who’s tried to play or write it knows that 🤣
You know that the random person already playing the piano is good when Dr K spends as much or even more time just enjoying and listening to them play vs playing himself or together with the stranger. Brava! Young lady 🥰 it was beautiful.
Great musicians admire and recognise other great musicians. It makes no difference as to what genre they usually play. Given the opportunity to fly free it is what they do. Rise to the challenge and have fun with another master. Brendan and this lady will both take something special from this meeting on a railway station concourse. Thank you for sharing the magic with us. We are blessed to see and hear you both.
I just find it so sad that so many people just walk on by without any appreciation of the talent performing right before their eyes, and for free. It’s a sad reflection of modern life. Keep up the great work Brendan. I could watch your videos all day. They bring a smile to my face.
🇬🇧WOW, super. The young lady played one of the first pieces Of Music I heard on a record in 1946, Sparky & his Magic Piano👀.Then more music at a Lyons Corner House in London in the 1950s, a Piano & Violin. I was lucky and was taught both😃
Good Morning Dr. K 🌞 Thank you , So very much this beautiful peace classics music with us ! May God continue to bless you all , Enjoyed listening to music ! 🕊 🎶 8 / 14 / 2021 🎶
Superb again and the lady love classical music, with Terry out playing pipe organs lol we need other pianists to join in, get the gang together, let's boogie more often.
Classical music is my favorite, but when Dr. K starts the head bopping and foot tapping, I just start smiling and my foot begins to move! This was just what I needed today! Two astounding musicians having fun! New to this channel but have been binge watching for hours now! Housework can wait! Thanks so much for all you do, Brendan! Love from California!
Brendan, I’m 59 now and your videos have inspired me to begin wearing sunglasses now indoors. Due to the many accidents in the first few weeks, I have now started using shin pads, it works better this way.
Simply amazing! What a thrill to see the 2 genres alternating back and forth, and be able to be moved/touched by both. I love what you do Brendan Kavanagh! God Bless you for blessing us with your talent and ability to speak the international language of music! I am also a fan of Bach, and this woman is spectacularly talented, but, above that, she plays with feeling! It is not just a sequence of notes played in time, her music (as does yours) emits passion, and is infectious (in a good way :-)
The angel in white is holding her applause (look at her hands). She wants to applaud, but is reluctant. What would everyone else think? Time to let your heart rule your actions.
This is a stage in disguise straight from heaven above. We are all awestruck at these shows. Thanks Brendon (Terry and kie) for making this stupid world stop spinning for a moment in time.
Dude I was depressed this morning really really down .. I have binging this man's posts and I can't help and smile thank you so much!!! I feel loads better
WOW, WOW, WOW! Words seem inadequate to describe how moving it was to have a front row seat to this beautiful music!! Thank-you Dr. K & your amazing guest! I so appreciated this video! Much love to you both!❤️❤️ 🇨🇦
Her music takes us back to the 19th century; your music takes her -- personally -- back to the 1950s. Look at would-be hair-tossing Janis Joplin in the making!!!! 😉 I truly hope we see her "Bach" here again, Dr. K. Dang, lookit you two go - beautiful. 🤩 Simply marvelous. And a HUGE TY to the good Doc for letting her play. 💕
Brandon! We need two baby grands back-to-back so you can have Dueling Pianos with your fans and unsuspecting piano aficionados. That would be exquisite! Cheers from Texas.
Awesome! Well, written comments couldn’t have said it better myself. Brendan I think I love you! Lol! I love the person you are… Your light shines bright!❤ Can’t stop watching. Keeps me smiling And God knows I need that right now! Thank you thank you thank you
