The thing about you that just amazes me is, even when the design you’re doing isn’t one I would normally like, you’re so good at what you do that I love it at the end!! You have the best personality & are such a fantastic teacher! Going to one of your classes & meeting you & Kenny, is definitely on my bucket list!!
The ultimate top coat is not available for me to buy where I live. Can't you recommend an alternative matte top coat? Would any polyurethane work? I read somewhere to use a concrete sealer. I'm not sure what to do and would love your thoughts?.....
I just did my first pour. While I was putting a slick coat on, the epoxy hardened in the bucket. I had poured some out of main bucket to do the slick coat. I went back to start mixing my colors and it was hard. Help what did I do. I measured exactly 1:1
If you get too much epoxy in a container it will cause heat to build up resulting in a chemical reaction where the epoxy hardens within a minute or two. Sometimes the container will even smoke and be hot to the touch. I found this out by it happening twice. If Im using like a 32 ounce mixing container, I try to not mix more than 20-24 oz at a time to avoid this happening. Its an expensive mistake!!
