For those interested in purchasing a condo in Laos, remember the following:
Foreigners are allowed to own condominium units in Laos under the “Law on Land,” which
covers the land use rights of condominiums, allowing foreigners the right to purchase and own the rights to a unit inside a condominium for the term of the agreement. In this specific case, the term duration is 62 years, after which the agreement can be renewed.
As with any issues concerning “land ownership” or “land use rights”, you’ll want to contact an experienced commercial lawyer for more information.

This was great and helpful. I would prefer 3 bed 2 bath outside of the,city,center but glad to know you could live graciously for $650 per month . wow 😮

Great question! Dues are $1 per sq meter. The studio is ~28 sqm, and the 1BR is ~38sqm. So that would be ~$28 per month dues for the studio, and ~$38 per month for the 1BR. As for the property taxes: no annual taxes…maybe because this is technically a land-lease agreement for 62 years (based on the land use rights in Laos and the agreement for this Condo).
