Could you do an update with more information? Or recommend another of your resources? I have some children (who have been passed through foster care systems) with extreme trauma. As a teacher, I have had NO trauma training in dealing with extreme behaviors in children. Some days are good days and I’m so thankful for them. But some days my classroom is like a war zone. I haven’t figured out what their triggers are. Many times it’s asking them to do their work with me at the table so I can help. They are quite behind academically so I understand the apprehension. However, I’ve tried to be reassuring that I want to help them. My students and I are scared and I just want to help all of them. ALL OF THEM. But these two children seem impossible to reach.
