'curve wrecker' means someone who wrecks the grading curve/scale. that is- that person scores so high above the class average everyone else's scores go down when the grades are scaled/adjusted.

Hey Manly, I'm guessing that the "curve wrecker" the MC mentions implies that's the infamous class nerd/teacher's pet. Wrecks grading curves because their test results make it difficult to bump up everyone else's scores.

Ending 9 has happened to me, and thankfully they weren't lying and actually did feel that way instead of just saying it to get rid of a problem. To me, it's pretty much the most easy one to take, because if you respect the situation it destroys the friendship a significant amount less and it's something the two can laugh about later. Rather than most things being awkward this is just more of an "Oh wait, so you.... OH, that makes sense! Alrighty then, forget I said anything." At least that's my experience on that matter.

*spoilers* in my opinion, it’s so odd that most people comment about how bad they feel for willie, when it seems annoying and uncomfortable that he stares at liza daily to the point that it’s noticeable and insists on staying in her presence despite being rejected repeatedly. the words he uses in his confessions are increasingly off-putting. plus, all the text ends in red flags. the first two rejections were sad - anything beyond those were just creepy.
