Ulysses is nothing more of a hypocrite. He claims to blame you for siding with the "Ghosts of Vegas, desperately looking outwards for the Old World" but he is the one who is all about symbolism, he even has the Pre-War US insignia on his Duster just like Courier's if you side with House.

(Hence his obsession with "the why of it" & why he believes even the Legion he held in high regard would fail ('cause the Roman Empire eventually failed... Ignoring that it lasted for quite a long time & that nothing is set in stone). Why NCR would fail (to him, it's America rip-off all over again))

​@@Gun_Metal_Grey Ulysses keeps the history. House, NCR and Caesar are trying to repeat it. Nothing hypocritical here. He values America, it's history, but he's not trying to bring it back. He makes sure it's spirit doesn't vanish. Same with Twisted Hairs tribe, with the Twin Mothers tribe and many others.

Fun fact: Joshua Graham’s voice actor also voiced Cornelius Slate in Bioshock infinite. If you compare Joshua Graham and Slate’s characters side by side it’s really easy to tell.

The other couriers are extremely irrelevant. The only thing that makes Courier 6 the important one was because he was the one to carry the Platinum Chip and survived the gunshots to the head, the others were just carrying decoy packages. The moment they got paid they ceased to be relevant

Wish we got Couriers that represent other factions. Ullyses is kinda Legion(ex Legion?)/Independent. But what about House(ex House) aligned Courier? Or NCR Courier? Wish someone would make a nod about other couriers

Mr House isn't authoritarian by any stretch, if he represents a political philosophy it's anarcho capitalism. He's not an autocrat or even a rule maker he's just a guy with a big robot army who'll blow you up if you don't do what he wants and employs 5 tribes to manage the strip and doesn't care how that happens as long as they're subservient and loyal to him

Honestly though the base games story, while amazing, seems almost boring in comparison to the DLC's, literally almost every part of new vegas is a perfect decision and the DLC's only exemplify that

@@denisvitor9169 no, i do, and i still think it's wrong. joshua is by no means even a man of god in the first place. he has neither the merciful quality of a man of god nor the open mindedness. he's a perfect example of ulysses pointing out how a lot of people follow a symbol of the old world without understanding what it's about.

try wearing NCR armor when speaking to him at the end, it will neutralize your reputation score with the NCR. Had to it to get the Mr. House Courier duster and I got the Vegas dialogue.

You just have to get your NCR rep to Good-Natured Rascal or less (some positive-leaning mixed rep) because you can have your NCR points higher than your Strip points due to the different requirements per faction. Easiest way to do that is to equip and de-equip White Glove Society attire several times until your NCR rep drops, for some reason the game is bugged and permanently adds infamy for putting the gear on.

Late comment, and maybe you know this already but... I figured this out during my first Vegas playthrough. The thresholds for a "Liked" NCR rep and an "Idolized" Strip rep are both 40 points, and with you, it's likely that you were higher on the NCR side of things, hence why Ulysses considered you as siding with them. Honestly that design choice was pretty baffling, hence why I've come across a few good mods that actually check your questline progress instead of reputation when entering the Divide.

There are some mods you can get that address crashes. Also the GoG version is the superior version.

if you use windows 10 you need to get the fan patches for NV

If you are on console, it is best to only have a couple of the DLC installed at a time.

@@yourehereforthatarentyou There's a big difference between not having and obvious g and not having the g at all. I know most people I've talked to would have at least a trace of the g in it
