RIP brother...still helping us all from the great unknown...grateful for your legacy! Blessings to whomever remains behind for keeping these available...little things that make us in the FPV world still smack our foreheads in relief and smile from time to time...
Although JC has already left us, he continues to teach us how to set up a drone and clear up electronics questions, I hope you are at peace. We continue to be inspired by your videos. Thanks.
40k views and only 337 like, shame on you people. I think this vid help alot of you. Im new on fpv you help me alot and i know you dont see this anymore thx for all.
This is such a good video. Still relevant today. You're still my go-to for a bunch of stuff like BINDING for examle. I don't know how many times ive done this stuff but i keep forgetting and these videos are short and straight to the point. Love it!
I get a green light on the XM+ RX when the FR Sky Taranis Radio is turned on so I know the Radio is Bound to the RX. Have all the settings as you have shown in the video, however I am not certain what Uart is being used so I just tried all three (one at a time saving and restarting checking to make sure everything stayed the same) However I cannot see any movement in the channels of the RX tab in Betaflight. What am I doing wrong?
Mithun Chopda hello, you would need a female servo connector and then plug them into the pins that you’ve soldered to the receiver. It makes for easy receiver swapping between models.
Hello, I would like to know how I configure my radio so that I show the rssi, I have done the whole process in betaflight but it does not show me the value. Thank you !
Hello, on my XM+ it still don't work. My FC is the DYS F4 Pro Omnibus. I've connected the SBUS to the R3 although there is an SBUS port, i have also tried the SBUS port and it doesn't work. What do i do?
My right stick input is not recognized...but when moving the left stick..multiple bars move (roll + pitch too)...no mapping change has helped..any ideas?
@@Gushansen83 nice! Sorry:( I'm not an expert lol just what was told to me. I'm finding if ask around you get different responses. I spoke out of place sorry.
Cannot get any input in receivers no matter what I try. Using a brand new XM+ I got yesterday. I have moved from UART1 (was interfering with Cleanflight when I plugged my battery in) to UART3 and serial RX is enabled for UART3, its set to the right serial/sbus setting in config, I have a good bound controller, solid green LED on the RX, the pin on the receiver has a good connection to RX on my SP Racing MDF3 v1. Am starting to think its either the FC or a DOA RX. Don't have an oscilloscope so I can watch the SBUS output from the RX, I guess that would be the next test..
Same here - can't get the XM+ to work with my Omnibus F3 AIO. Receiver is connected to the PPM/SBUS | 5V | GND Pins on the FC and already bound. Receiver Type in BF set to "Serial". But I can't set the "SBUS" option in BF. It always resets to "Spektrum" after rebooting the FC. On the receiver page, no bars are shown at all. Tried all three UARTs, it's the same with all. Never had that with any other receiver before! 😣 😣 😣 Anyone got a workaround?
Hi JC please HELP!!! Receiver tab in betaflight is not happy the drone preview is spinning, channel 12 is coming up for some reason, throttle and elev is mixed up and the less are freaking out I'm using the taranis x7 with frsky xm+ and echine wizard x220s cheers 👊😁
Because I figured out you actually can get RSSI into an OSD without any extra wiring. So I deleted the review because I was wrong when I said you have to place a wire on the RSSI pad and run that to the FC. I'm posting the video in about 5 minutes.
Not in that video but I'll be making a new review and I'll compare sizes. I'm going to wait until the XM plus get here then I'll do a new review so everyone can see the difference in sizes.
