Connecticut feels effects of Magnitude 4.8 earthquake in New Jersey 

I work in Stamford and we definitely felt it in our office. The walls were vibrating and the floor was moving. My boss didn't believe me at first when I said, it was an earthquake. I know it was felt as far north as Lake George and western Massachusetts. I have family near Cooperstown, NY who felt it. I didn't feel that 4.0 aftershock on Friday evening which was felt in Westchester County and Bethel and Ridgefield, CT where I live. I know there are fault lines in Westchester County. I do remember the 4.0 earthquake in Westchester County in 1985. My bed was shaking. It was scary. It was the middle of the night. The epicenter was in Ardsley, NY. People need to be aware that there is a fault line, Cameron's line, that runs through Ridgefield, CT.
