This guy is the best quarterback to ever play at the University of South Carolina. Had better stats than Johnny football did when he one the Heisman. Went into the NFL and did everything right (proof from the video above), but never got a legitimate shot to prove himself.. what a disgrace. This guy is now coaching football at school in Clayton, Georgia (Rabaun County High School). Always loved you're work Shaw!
I'm a huge south Carolina fan and Connor Shaw has a bright future in the NFL although he never got a championship he still had 3 back to back 11 win seasons and never lost a home game leaving the gamecocks with the longest active home win streak in the country Shaw I'll miss u at the helm but do good and make us south Carolinians proud
When you look at the instant replay on that TD throw, it was more accurate than it appeared. It was out of reach for player trying to intercept it and actually landed to the intended receiver. That receiver then tapped it to the other receiver who caught it.
Jesus fucking christ, the Browns had Dion Lewis, Taylor Gabriel, and Willie Snead and they cut them all, and now those guys play key roles on teams that are much better than the Browns.
Man I'm pissed off he threw 8/9 that night and for Idk.....123yrds!!!! I hope someone picks him up. I honestly became a fan of him that night. Screw Hoyer & Johnny...
Browns should have either kicked it or ran a QB sneak for the W with the guard and center double teaming the nose tackle as well as having a tight end positioned on the left to give the tackle some help if needed shaw's a good runner when necessary
Just found out about this dude. Wow. Eagles should sign him haha. He has quick feet and knows when the step in and out of the pocket. Good accuracy and arm strength.
Hes getn a shot sunday. I really hope he does well for the browns. Its been hoyer an manziel mania an they both struggled bad. Shaw jus needs to do decent
don't be surprised, be glad that the guy was a UDFA. He was a great QB at South Carolina, not in the sense of Johnny football doing amazing stuff like having Mike Evans and Ryan Swoope do everything. He would drop back find someone open and deliver, if not he'd run or audible a run to a Run play. He's smart and a very accurate QB like Brady. he's also played through a lot of injuries at Carolina
+HollywoodFrom ThaBlock My point is that he is a good player and just because madden mobile has his card 50 something overall does not make him bad. Long story short he is a great QB.
It really saddened me when he went on the DL and missed a chance to get some playing time in Manziel's absence. History could have repeated itself, like when late round draft choice (after the 7th round so he would have been a free agent like Connor Shaw) Johnny Unitas supplanted the first pick in the draft, George Shaw (apparently no relation to Connor) and showed what he could do.
Then you don't want Connor. As a South Carolina fan, he loves to run. Seen it for three years. Too bad we can't get him back and he be a permanent QB for us 😂
I think he is realy underrated quarterback that with a little bit of good coaching and possibly at least a year or 2 behind a good confident qb he could realy be something in the nfl. The fact that he is not the starter right now or at least behind Manziel instead of McCown is just unbelievable it's like the Browns have troubal seeing talent when it's there something teams like the 49ers, and Colts are good at.
I thought the exact same. I as well only wanted to see this only because of shaw. He earns the td, wtf just tie it up and go to ot. Bad call by the coaches. Shaw deserves to be a starter. He will get his time to shine. We miss you back here in south Carolina Connor!
Yea I hate that he is hurt now. Im pretty sure he is done for the season. At the moment I cant believe the browns are continuing to start josh Mccown because manziel is improving so much. The browns are not goin to get shit out of josh just like everywhere else hes played. I dont get how the browns coaches bringing in a long time failing qb when they had shaw and manziel. Idk wtf mike pettine wants and expects when he doesn't give any qb time to adapt to and really learn how to run the offence. The browns do have a fairly solid team with a few standout players this season and if they lose its on the coaches. They need to put some faith in manziel and find out what they r really goin to get out of him. If he is the long term qb they need or if hes not. When shaw started in week 17 last season he played great to me against the ravens. I forever his fan so I want to see him as a starting qb somewhere
