Not really. TJ got suspended for PEDs, Conor hasn't won a fight since 2016, and Cody has left the building entirely. In the end, both Cody and Conor ended up being arrogant loudmouths with not a speck of attention from the UFC to show for it, while TJ ended up in the footsteps of every other fighter who's ever been suspended. Urijah got the last laugh by shutting his mouth, and sticking to his fights. Ended up winning his most recent one.
@@tropeller9535 This did age well. The point of this clip was that TJ would eventually leave Fabers camp. That's exactly what happened. All that other stuff you pointed out was irrelevant to this video.
@@nstser9495 not gonna happen Tj is too small to fight at 155 and McGregor too big to fight at 135. Even if they fought at 145 McGregor's reach is too big compared to Tj, it would be one sided and not really entertaining to watch

@@haikalfauzi_ Basically, Faber runs Team Alpha Male and brought TJ into his team when TJ was young and helped make him into the fighter that he is now. He was with them for years and really built his MMA career while he was there. Anyway, in 2012 Duane Ludwig joined TAM as head coach, and some of the TAM fighters (TJ included) improved significantly in their results. In 2014, Faber parted ways with Ludwig (who started his own gym) and TJ went to train with Ludwig instead of TAM.

Think this was conors most discipline self...and shades help keep a poker face... plus he had a good grip of cash at this point and he actually broke his shades on one of these episodes . I would say 2/3rds of mma fighters are confident....

100% true. Look at the close up of Fabers face when Conor is speaking, he knows it’s happening and Dillashaw is jumping onboard to a different fight camp. In the fight game you don’t bite the hand that feeds you. I must admit he did get way better as a striker through Duane but to leave Fabers team completely was wrong. GSP trains at multiple places but his main fight camp is in Canada with Faraz Zahabi

Bloodwolf1 Dillashaw's facial expressions have "get me the fuck out of here" written all over him. I actually think Conor was jabbing at Faber for the most part, but in a way sort of laying out what he thought of the whole situation.......saying he had Faber's best interests at heart would be pushing it, but I think there was some sort of sentiment there.

That might have carried over as well. He talked about it on the TAM podcast. I prefer just watching the fights - and TAM members are not a great example - but there's no real personalities in the UFC really. I can see how Conor becomes tiresome to folk. Rousey and her pattented catchphrases. Cerrone going on about drinking all the time and sky-diving off a cliff before breakfast. Aside from them and maybe Cormier, it just seems like it's lacking something. Everyone bar the top fighters seem like they're careful with what they say.

What I love about this is that Conor did not only see it coming, he looked out for Uriah ANNDDD shut TJ up cause TJ knew he was spitting facts. TJ didn't say anything back to Conor and Uriah was the one defending him. Conor really does speak truth.

So actually it was TJ who made Urijah,Andre Fili and Cody Garbrandt look like fools here, not Conor. Conor just saw the situation with TJ and Duane and judged accordingly. They got emotional about it. I am confident that Urijah bonded with Conor after all this shit and that he now understands where Conor was coming from. Loyalty above everything else. That's the recipe for success according to Conor and i respect that. What you guys think about Garbrandt vs McGregor though? I think Conor would disassemble him.

The week of the Barao fight, Ludwig made some comments about the other members of TAM that they didn't take too kindly to - which so happened to be when they were filming TUF. I doubt that fight would happen. Both in different weight classes.

I hope Faber realizes that McGregor is really sticking up for him here. I don't think he's just talking shit and trying to push his buttons, I really get the impression that he likes Faber as a person, that he respects him, and that he felt he could see that TJ was secretly screwing him.
