Im actually glad telltale just didn't kill after not shooting him they actually give us choices to keep him alive and hes kind of not that bad character
I liked how Telltale did this. They kept a determinant character alive through 5 episodes. I, on the other hand killed him in episode 1 😂😂 but, it's cool how they did this
Liam EFC I felt so much guilt for Clem and then she fucking made me walk through a herd of walkers then I got slightly pissed at her. But I love her too much to get annoyed at her.
At least they gave us a bootleg version I mean seriously make his voice deeper and change his clothes and that's what lee would look like after a couple years
this is 6 years later, but: first: you choose his fate by simply fighting over who gets the gun second: you can choose his fate by simply being good or not good at quick timed events third: you can just shoot him to prevent it all, instead of betraying clem and fourth: if you keep him alive, you get to learn that conrad likes books. what an awesome character.
@@moon69428Kinda great how he is a two in one package too. There was a noticeable lesser crown after leaving David. Granted Jesus could carry either way.
Gavinm2405 Clementine is black and she's survived three seasons, not to mention it said her story will continue so that hints a Season 4. And don't forget Mike, he was a character in Season 2 as well and he never died.
Well, honestly the best choices general involved siding against Clementine. Its like the devs wanted to see if people would choose Clem over doing what was a more moral choice.
conrad is the only character that can be saved or not in the whole season AND dont talk about jesus he can survive on his own you cant choose to let him die or save him but conrad is different
If many of you do not know. Jesus is the character from the TV series. So if he dies from the game, that contradicts the TV series and may start a fight between Telltale and the creators of The Walking Dead.
LegendarianGamer it's not the TV show that it would have trouble with (that is a different cannon) it would be the comic books that it would contradict because he is still alive in the books.
In my mind, there’s no logical reason to kill Conrad because A. In the tunnel, Javi has only known Clem for like two days so he really wouldn’t have any idea on wether Clem was on new frontiers side or not B. Conrad redeems himself really well in the end and makes the killing badger scene much more fulfilling C. In episode four, Gabe exposes that you killed Conrad in the tunnel leading to Tripp and Eleanor holding major grudges against you and they refuse to help you. D. In all honesty, there’s way too many Clem stans out there who kill off some of the best characters just for Clem
he took a gun to the guys kid, clem is clem, but that to far, taking gabe was the point he fucked up for me, like his beef with clem has nothing to do with him
I was afraid that Conrad will stab me in the back, for blaming me to get his wife killed, he was being a pain in the ass. Then he made the biggest mistake in his life, by threatening to put Clementine life in danger, and pull the gun on Gabe's head, he was not someone I wanted to deal with for the rest of the game
I mean, she's a fucking kid. Meanwhile Conrad is just another overemotional asshole pointing a gun. I don't think it's out of character for Javier to side with Clementine lol?
Conrad killing Badger has to be one of the most badass moments in the entire game. Such a pity not everybody get to see that happen. Especially Jacksepticeye. Damn it.
Biggest issue with S3 is that you're playing as someone who just met Clem, but the player themselves knows Clem from two prior seasons. Conrad's proposal would seem far more reasonable if you didn't know Clem's character and watch her grow from S1 and S2. It's a bit hard to disconnect yourself from Clem as a character from the previous seasons; from the view of Javi, it would be completely reasonable to use her as a bargaining chip, since Javi barely knows her and just learned that she had seemingly been lying to cover herself. The player knows that Clem's not a bad person or someone who'd trick others for her own benefit, but Javi wouldn't.
I tried to watch from Javier point and killed him for threatening mine only niece. This guy just lost his mind after his love death, completely unreliable.
Not enough people bring it up but this is the biggest issue with this scene and other choices regarding Clem. She’s knows better-it’s why I chose to stay and fight the bandits after Mariana’s death and added another reason not to trust David cause Clem never trusted him.
The first time I was playing season 3 I was totally unaware of the low survivability of Conrad. And with each choice I made I somehow managed to keep him alive. It was complete luck that he managed to survive through my play through
The fact that Conrad got a more well written story than Nick (TWD Season 2). Nick barely said anything in Ep 3 and had an offscreen death. Nick should’ve had the Mike Lines and the Mike actions and would’ve properly died protecting the group in Ep 5 at the start. Better outcome than Offscreen.
Why couldn't Kenny be spared but its possible to keep Conrad alive all the way? Hell why not Tripp or Ava? Telltale, your choice in who lives and dies is seriously flawed.
Ness Is Okay. No, but honestly I feel like Clem was acting irrationally throughout the season, I didn’t just mindlessly side with her because i knew her
I think he can die three ways. First in the tunnel, secondly right outside the storage place for the new frontier, and lastly I think, he can be hit by the truck that kate drives
yeah man, its not just a small thing. this is the worst thing i've ever had to choose from you could shoot conrad or you could let him live the entire season (at the cost of making clem go with kate at the end if clem accepted ava's offer and didnt inject AJ and spit in david's face (haha deserved!!!) thats what i did to get clem to go with kate
I said that before im saying this again: Conrad is love, Conrad is life First determinant character that can survive whole season that means: CONRAD IS LEGEND :D Too bad tripp cant survive. it would be amazing to see conrad and tripp be together in the end of the game :D ( i mean together like friends not boyfriends so dont get me wrong :D )
Well, we played as Javi which is a total stranger to Clementine while we know her as a player. Clementine never backed us up when Gabe told on Javi when he shot Conrad and she also needs to learn that violence is not always the solution.
It's funny how they made effort to keep Conrad around for episode 3, episode 4 and episode 5 when he was determinant but they killed Tripp and Ava off the next episode almost instantly, I'm still mad about their deaths, it's probably the worst deaths next to Nick and Sarah.
Yes it's really annoying. If they could let us really save Conrad, why they don't let us keep Tripp and Ava alive? Tripp/Ava could help us save Richmond or David and Gabe.
This is why I tooked the deal for Conrad and not shoot him for Clem. Reason 1-This taught Clem that there are consequences for you actions and that violence isn't always the answer Reason 2- If you are not a dumb*** you can keep him alive for the whole season. Reason 3-He told Javier the man he was in the tunnel wasn't him Reason 3-He is useful in Episodes such as episode 4 you could get killed by the one New Frontier soldier if you didn't take his gun. But if Conrad's alive you could get saved by him Reason 4-Killing Conrad upsets Tripp and Eleanor. Eleanor will quote she wants you dead after what you did to Conrad. And both of them will join against you. And Gabe can get on your nerves about shooting him. Reason 5-Clem won't back you up on killing Conrad when Gabe told on you. So if you shot Conrad in episode 2 Didn't give him the gun in episode 3 didn't move away from the truck Kate was driving in in episode 4 You are the dumbest person I know
i killed him and i thought he is meant to die hhhh but wow he survives 5 episodes Cool ! i need to replay again and change some things . i got the good ending = kate and gabe are alive but no romance with kate because i was trying to be loyal to my brother ( his brother hhhh ) Great Game . but it cant beat season one !!
@@xxgamerxxyut1084 In the last episode. He doesn't actually lift the walker over his head but he throws it over his shoulder (which still takes alot of physical strength).
AFGuidesHD When you talk to him outside at the end and say "I like you Jesus" then the says"your a charmer javi" then it gets weirder, I'd like to see his response to all the options after than lol
I personally hated Episode 2 of that season because of a very hard choice I didn’t want to betray Clem but I didn’t want to kill Conrad either so basically either choice is messed up
I hate the fact that gabe ratted us out for killing Conrad. That is why I don't like him a little bit. After everything we did for him, he does this. But I spared Conrad cause I understand what he is going through. He is also one of my favorite characters.
I kind of LIKE the fact that Gabe reveals what happened. Because to an extent he’s not wrong, I like it because to me it’s kind of a wake up call for the blind fandom. The game is basically telling you “You murdered your friend and fell out with your other friend, all for a popular character that Javi doesn’t even know, because of that we’re now gonna punish you by having Tripp lose trust in you, was it worth it?”
OMFG Conrad is gonna be on a breakdown again! First Francine NOW TRIPP?! It's gonna be a fucking trainwreck soon!!! Then again, Season 4 will mainly focus on Clementine now.
*"And yet death was not something you could ignore, it had its weight. It seemed to her she better not form the practice of ignoring death. If she tried, death would find a way to answer back - it would take another of her loved ones, to remind her to respect it"* - Larry McMurty - Lonesome Dove
The 4 determinant scenes with Conrad's death/fate: 1. Javi shoots him in the head. 2. The walkers drag him away and devour him. 3. Kate accidentally runs him over with the truck. 4. He is last seen reading a book about death, this is the one where he lives throughout the whole season.
You know whats funny, lee was in all the seasons, or at least someone who looks like him. Season one = Lee Season two = Mike Season three = Conrad Season four = Louis/Lee
I'm so happy that i dind't killed Conrad in cold blood for no reason. Conrad turned out to be a good guy, he was just confused, mad and lost by the death of his wife (100% understandable) i cant wait to see him in season 4 :) He was definitely one of my favorites characters in season 3/a new frontier. "No. You're Not a Man, You're Nothing!" - Conrad Savage Conrad!
25:03 SHIT Conrad apologises and reprents, fuck i feel bad for shooting him. I still felt the circumstances made it so I had to save clementine... I still stand by it
Seeing this video, I really deeply regret shooting Conrad. However, you don't have any reason to shoot him. He simply wanted to give Clem the New Frontier and randomly threatened Gabe if he didn't go along with it. Here in the comments, they remembered that Javi hasn't known Clem for a week and he didn't know his trajectory and his real intentions, but what Conrad did was very unnecessary, which led to ending up tyrannizing his life. If I thought about these factors ahead of time rather than the short term, I would spare him. Sorry Conrad.
I would like to keep Conrad alive but I’m trying to help Clem since she’s been there since the start. As Rick said in season 1: “Anyone gets in the way of that is gonna lose”.
