The Real American he just found out that his father has cancer and would rather die in a week than be alive with his family. I'd say he's got enough reason to be mad as hell.
@@icankickflipok he was old already...and cancer isnt always curable..why should he have to fight if he doesnt want to? His kids are grown as hell they dont need a dad anymore and he'd spend his last momments suffering from chemo if he fought..at least not taking the treatment allowed him to spend time actually living instead of just clinging to life.
@@vianjelos death doesnt suck for the dead. It sucks for the living. Now I agree with you, but at the same time why is it wrong to react the way he did? Hes gonna live with that loss. And I grew up without a father, I'd say many people did, so I get you dont need one. Still, if you love someone then that's that. You dont want anything to happen to them or to lose them. So I still dont understand why it's not okay for David to be heartbroken and afraid for his dad.
According to some people the during the flashback of Episode 3 of TWD ANF, that takes place the same night Lee and the motor inn group fought against the St John family.
16:34. This. This entire scene, this entire setup. It’s amazing. Probably the saving grace for this entire game, honestly. Say what you will about ANF, but revisiting this just reminded me how incredible this flashback to before the apocalypse right as it’s starting is incredible with from the pacing, to my personal appreciation that they let them speak Spanish almost the entire time while in the bedroom when they find their Walker-fied Dad. I love it so much. And the fact that at the very beginning even before that you can hear the police sirens and choppers in the background, and even Javi mentioning that the highways are building up, all reminds me that at this very moment all the other characters from Season 1 are experiencing this rising apocalypse first hand. With Lee still unconscious in that police car, Clementine hiding away in her treehouse after leaving her babysitter in the house, Kenny saving Duck from their (unknowingly) first walker encounter at that truck stop, Vince being hauled away in that prison bus, etc. (Didn’t expect me to bring up 400 Days, right?). I wish TellTale had done more of these jumps to the past when they could so that we could see how everyone lived before the end times.
at like 24:06 to 24:09, when the grandma was humming a song and touching her husband's face, for a brief moment it looked like he recognized her or her voice. and i find it kinda sad because what if in the recent-reaminated state there is still a little bit of humanity left inside which quickly fades away after a short period of time. what if he remembered something but couldnt place it and the zombie forced him to attack his wife. i thinks its saddening either way.
Well in twd world after you die your body is being controlled by the virus so yeah you just die and thats it your personality, character, memories its all gone
Javier and David’s Dad is one of the things that make me happy I have a Hispanic father, it seems like Hispanic parents just inherently have some sort of playful pride to themselves and the rest of their family even in urgent situations, it really sucks sometimes, yeah, but it’s good to know that even when they feel like they might die, they want to let us know that all it is’s just nature taking its course and we just have to accept it, and knowing they’re alright with that sort of thing is enough for me. Speaking of familial similarities between these characters and my family, I kinda see a lot of myself in Javier and Gabe, and my brother in David, Javi represents my loyalty and dedication to protecting my family, and Gabe represents my constant need to be a hero somehow, even if I know I could get myself hurt. My brother’s also dedicated and loyal to our family, he really hates losing, and he takes certain situations more urgently than he normally should.
0:02 = Episode 5 (The one where Salvador has cancer and the one where Javier promises Salvador that he and David will take care of each other) 6:41 = Episode 4 (The one where Javier promises to watch over Kate for David) 12:32 = Episode 2 (The one where Javier first bonds with Kate) 16:34 = Episode 1 (The one where the apocalypse first happens and Salvador dies and eventually becomes infected) 26:00 = Episode 3 (The one where Javier, Kate, Gabe and Mariana set out to look for David)
What upsets me is that they left so much weapons at the house at the end like when Javi picked up the baseball he could have just taken the bat or when that girl grabbed the pudding she could have grabbed the kitchen knife
Relationship beetwen David and Javier is like relationship between me and my sister. Unfortunately my sister was always selfish just like David and in the end she killed herself.
He means when he got sicker and couldnt move as much (probably going to find a job), and he wasnt physically there when his dad actually died even though he promised he would. Now, Davids an ASSHOLE, but he meant later on
My favourite thing about Season 3 is how we get to see all these scenes before everything went down. We all focus on how the characters need to kill the walkers and survive. But, we forget about how they had lives and families before the apocalypse.
I noticed that too! I played the game making Javier as sweet as possible, always nice to David and his family, telling Pa to fight, and of course during that scene I kept choosing "I love you."
I noticed there's a mistake in the translated dialogue during the scene Javi and David are trying to restrain their dad (23:50). You can clearly see Javi as the one delivering the line saying, "Dad, Dad! Calm down it's me." But after that the subtitle reads, "It's me, David." The voice actor could be David's, but the name David (Dah-veed) is close enough to Javi (Hah-vee) that it might just be Javier's VA reading his line and just the subtitle is wrong. Either that or the line was read by David's VA and somehow ended up coming out of Javi's mouth.
He wasn't hiding it, just covering it up. Bites like that are really bad anyway. I think it was more to show the player that Hector will die and Javier witnessed the bite wound, so he would later realize that even bites will kill you.
“I’ll always remember Gabe wearing that green raglan shirt, especially for what I really saw in his identity. He was played by Raymond Ochoa, the same person that played Arlo in 2015’s the Good Dinosaur. I cared about him most, because he wasn’t just Arlo. He was my nephew, just like Abe is, who doesn’t have any parents right now.” - my older brother, Ashton Meredith (DrasticPoem 6696) 2020
Dude did you even play the game? They finished the game, Javi grabbed his dad's wallet an found the papers from the hospital in it. Then David grabbed it an exposed the Truth
"Please God a daughter. Anything but a son. Anything but another me. Anything but another hot-headed idiot with his heart in the right place. Anything but another fool-hardy handsome gambler. Anything at all."
Wait, so, Javi was clearly already out of the baseball game when his dad got cancer, plus he was crashing at their place, but for some reason he's not there when his dad dies and David says "I know you weren't here when he got sick but you need to be here when he goes" This truly was the least thought out season out of all three
Not taking the knife check Not taking the bat check Mistakes that could’ve been prevented. Possibly check (Not sure if they took them and they didn’t show it, I never played the game. Please be kind and let me know if they did)
Im late but, BRUH You clearly dont have a brother, so you have no idea how its like to have an older brother. Its exactly like this. David is literally the perfect brother character ever. Brothers love to fight and be mean towards each other, but they always love them inside, but they never tell them that. Pls dont talk shit about something without understanding
@@ruparavi6409 david is the worst example of a bigger brother? The fuck are you saying? David is a shitty brother-father-husband. First he wanted to go off on Javi cause Javi has his own life to live an won't watch his family for him as he tells him it's his own responsibility which it is. Proceeds to tell Javi that he's basically a lost cause while trying to be nice to Javi? Fuck that. That's not how a brother acts regardless of what happened. Then proceeded to hash out his anger on his own son. Fucked up everything when given the chance to leave Richmond just for a quick revenge. He didn't care about the consequences nor did he care who would have gotten hurt. He was rash an very deserving of his fate. Well written to be hated. Don't defend him. He's not a good person nor brother. He didn't even fucking bother going back to the house to see if his brother-son-daughter-wife was okay. He's a coward.
