As a cis woman who literally has to shave my chin every morning, because my hormones just do what they want and not what I would like, it only makes me feel more insecure to hear someone say women shaving their faces doesn’t make sense. Then I realize this guy is a joke and nothing he says matters.

What makes even less sense is that the people that agree with their views and how shaving is manly are the same people who think women not shaving their legs are gross

I went to their website, and judging from the front photo, he’s trademarked the sentence “Stop giving your money to woke corporations that hate you.” Which is EXTREMELY hilarious, in the bad way

He looks like he's wearing his dad's coat on a spiritual level. I've never seen an adult look like they're cosplaying as a grown up. I cringe every time I see Jeremy Boring as a pavlovian response because of these ads. I don't know what's more embarrassing, the DW being this transparent about grifting their audience with overpriced dropshipped tat, or the thought of an actual person showing off how gullible they are by buying and displaying these things. What was even more embarrassing was that there was another razor start up that usually showed up in the same set of ads as this where the people seemed to actually care about making good quality, nondisposable razors. They'd make this heartfelt plea to check out their store page, then this... joke? would come on, whining and pissing all over the place about how persecuted they were because they weren't getting the sponsors they felt they were entitled to. And then the fucking chocolate ads came and I had to reblock everything again and again.

This ad was a lame ripoff of a Dollar Shave Club ad from eleven years ago that really was funny and used self-deprecating humor to poke fun at themselves, not self-appreciating humor because they’re losers trying too hard. And it should be noted that Jeremy Boring is a wannabe Hollywood guy, the same as most of the Daily Wire. This wasn’t a CEO of a political website branching out, this is what they wish they were doing professionally instead of shilling for Republicans.
