Chris, another great vid. In my humble opinion, the people I see that continually produce a great swing and contact most of the time, have a great hip turn through impact. They don't power through with arms/hands, they do it with lower body and one of the results is what you're showing here, a consistent path through the hitting area at the low point. People always seem to think hitting " down " on the ball is the key, but the swing is around and around, you're just tilted over doing it. Thanks for all you do sir.

Thank you Michael! Sequence is everything! Changing a downswing sequence is incredibly complex because of the variance that students bring to the table. Many different ways are taught to get people to preserve lag for speed, control the low point, lean the shaft and control the face angle before, at, and after impact is what a lot these videos try to go after. It’s all about how the information is processed and how the info is turned into movement. Thank you as always for being a part of the mygolfDNA family.

Been waiting for this video. And thanks for the "skip to 9.30 for drill" subtitle. I still watched this video in its entirety, but am sure other folks appreciated it. Thumbs up for this video

Chris - This is so cool!!! - I've been doing all your drills in all your past videos, but have been struggling putting it all together - ie. Syncronisation and tempo/cadence - or basically putting it all together as a 'swing' - This drill is awesome for this - THANK YOU SO MUCH - Not there yet as making so many changes but when it all comes together it is amazing - just need to ingrain it into the sub-conscious through repeating the correct moves :)😊

By far, most intelligent golf swing explanations online. The humour is cringy sometimes but really funny other times. Keep going.

My wife says the same exact thing about my humor. I’ll just stick to golf instruction from here on out and try to sprinkle in some entertainment along the way. We all know it’s hard to sit through 10+ mins of golf instruction.

Enjoyed the video I like how you break the video up into chapters. I like to fast forward videos as I admit my attention span for golf doesn’t allow me to fully watch a video over 5 minutes. So fast forwarding this video and seeing the captions helps me get where I want to be in gaining the information you put out.

I am a stack and tilt convert, but I still ocassionally hit behind the ball (fat). I think this drill will help a lot. Thanks!

This will certainly help you get the low point more forward and alleviate the fatter miss for sure. Just keep a close eye on the way you release the club to create a shallower environment. Thanks for watching.

Started with the compression video, went back to grip video, and now I’m here. Subbing while you’re around 7.6k subs. Currently just fixed my slice. Finally consistent with my draw but still feel like any info you have can help me.

@@MyGolfDNA Since this comment, and a good amount of your videos, I’ve been able to steadily hit more consistent shots and the slice isn’t even a question to me anymore. Really need to learn how to putt now.🤣 (I went from a 20 foot uphill eagle putt to a missed 5 foot downhill bogey put and a tap in for double) Hit the green in 2 on a par 5, and just threw the rest in the trash
@MyGolfDNA

@@oPICKLEz Time to capitalize on your new ball striking and start working on putting. Will be dropping some short game videos very soon. I know how bad it sucks to hit a par 5 in 2 and leave with a 5 or worse. It's infuriating to say the least. We will get you all fixed up.

I was sceptical when I watched this. Not sure why it wasn't included in the earlier lesson regarding rolling the trail foot inwards. Anyway I tried it and I was hitting the ball better so thanks😂

It’s pretty easy for skepticism to run deep when you’re a true student of the game and the golf instruction world, cannot and will not find a way to agree on anything. What matters the most, is that people like you, are willing to learn and take on new things that can ultimately lead to better and more enjoyable golf.

Chris! Why in the world can I not keep my lead arm straight!? I tend to let my trail arm go back too far which causes my lead arm to fold. I figure this affects my low point. It’s maddening….even when i purposely extend and stiffen my lead arm, it folds. Keep it soft, shorten my swing, it folds. It’s exhausting how I can’t fix this !
@MyGolfDNA
@MyGolfDNA 10 месяцев назад
The trail arm breaking is generally going to be from too much trail arm flexion, which is a derivative of the lead arm pushing across your center and your body not wanting to turn. Focus on little weight shit and big turn to be the primary engine of the backswing. The arm functions are easier to manage if they aren’t overwhelming the load process. The wide arms drill I did recently could help if you haven’t seen it. I will put this topic down as a video to be made asap because a lot of people struggle with it and demonstrating the reasons why it happens is a good way to start getting it fixed.
