Midlothian Snowsports Centre NEW venue due to open in October 2024 this new re-development of the Midlothian Snowsports Centre near Hillend, plans for the coaster, which carries individuals down a slope and in a huge loop the 600-metre Alpine Coaster is set to open in October along with a the UK's fastest zip wire, also set to be installed at the Midlothian Snowsports Centre, reaching speeds of up to 50 kilometres an hour and routed over a new building. here is the CONSTRUCTION UPDATE more to follow

Great footage and commentary. The ski facility is great but I get a bit nervous about these man made infringements on our beautiful Pentland Hills. There’s something a bit tacky about roller coasters:

Haha 😄 yea they can warn all they want. There are no flight restrictions, and my done is 249g no min distances to people or building there pissed put cause I done it before they did

hello Michael, strangely Runcorn has a ski slope too, it was derelict for a while but about 5 years they spent some money on the area. Now its a nice place to go for a walk and try the slope.

Ha ha ha, plenty time! joint venture between Edinburgh/Midlothian CLOWNcils! October ? What year ? Certainly NOT 2024. Open to those with their own transport, You all seen how out of breath Michael was (and he most likely drove up there), so very few people are gonna visit by bus (nearest stop, away back down on the Biggar Road) and walk all the way up, so really aimed at the mid - upper class families whose Mummies drive 4x4's.

The Hasenhorn Coaster in Todtnau in Germany is great, been on it several times and the speed is wow, chairlift up and is 2.9km in length, 1.8miles, only the uk make them small

Maybe wait until you have caught your breath before you start recording? Also, it opens in October, that’s 6 months away, of course it’s not finished yet, are you a construction expert? You sound really bitter desperate to find fault. You say that only skiers and snowboarders will be there, but that’s all that’s there just now, who would you expect to be there?

Am not even going to give you the time of day ur comment doesn't make sense caught my breath. If you watched my channel, you would know I have a breath disability and 2nd am only reporting what I see 3rd the hole reason there building this is to make it more popular right now its now it was close to being closed down at one point this is great for the area next time visit I will know more as more information has now been released, if your sole purpose is to slag my off then don't comment only happy people on this channel thanks

@@edinburghandbeyond first off, thank you for saying you’re not going to give me the time of day, then giving me the time of day. Second, I am commenting on this video in isolation, I don’t know, or care about your health issues. C. I am very aware of the life of the ski centre, having been going there since the late 1980’s. And partly, your style of reporting is all over the place, you cone across as wanting to be investigative, hard hitting and gritty, but with no research on what you are talking about. You invited comments in your video, but clearly, like most of your generation you only want to hear good comments, not constructive criticism.

@glaing I used to ski when I was young aswell in the 90s I didn't no much information on this I went up to fly the drone to see how it's going be only after did I see more information I was only giving my personal thoughts wasn't ment to be a information video mote a sneak peek into where it is and what does it look like am hoping in a few months when am back to share the information more now I know that it's not all going be opened in October but I thank u for you comment
