There is never much in the media about the coastline erosion at Mundesley. Now I know! It was not just sand being eroded but also soil. So much water causing all that damage. You did a fantastic job capturing the action as it happened and I hope you car was where you left it... I can see that disappearing in time too.
I never knew just how bad it was along that stretch of the coastline. Car was safe but it makes you wonder if you need to park at the top and walk down instead. I’ve been to that beach a few times but never saw the cliff falls as for some strange reason always walk the other way.

Those cliff are very simlar to ones at Reighton / Speeton in North Yorkshire, just all mud and the same thing happens there, also back down at Hopton there are some cliff where Gorleston Golf Club is that are just sand like those at Hemsby and, even though they have the same defences as those at Mundesley the same is happening there, every time i go you can see the changes..!!
