As an Australian, I would say that our neighbours over in New Zealanders are some of the most incredible and lovely people I’ve met. Both in Australia, New Zealand, and on my travels. No wonder they elected such a thoughtful, considerate and intelligent leader.

As a Kiwi, I feel I have the right to comment. While the speeches are diverse, it should be noted, attempting to immigrate to New Zealand is one of the hardest countries in the world. While the PM talks about an inclusive environment, it is almost impossible unless you are highly educated to immigrate.

I'm from New Zealand. People wait entire year for surgery because public health is so clogged up and slow. Most people buy health insurance so they will actually get treatment. You need to stop drinking the koolaid from the press.

@@crossroads670 Sure you might have to wait for some more serious surgeries since they prioritize more urgent patients. Most of the time it's pretty good. I walked into the hospital with a nasty infection. Was seen by a doctor then placed in a ward. Spent 5 days on an IV with strong painkillers and had a minor surgery then just walked back out with nothing to pay. How much would a stay like that cost me in somewhere like the USA. It's not perfect but be thankful that it's there.
