@@Ÿureæi HDMI outputs audio by default. I wanted to connect my hdmi monitor to an older pc that only has vga. So I could get an image to the new monitor from my old pc.

I bought a converter from VGA to HDMI but couldn't connect and I called up the smart TV manufacturer but they advised that I get the CPU board changed to HDMI instead. Thanks to your 'tips' that I realized it was because I didn't plug in the small little wire (like a phone connector on one end and usb on the other). Don't have to pay more to get it done!!!! Many Thanks to you!!!

I ordered today this cable. Thank you. This is exactly what I needed because it sends the signal out to the hdmi behind the tv, instead of the one adapter that I have which i used but sent the hdmi signal from the back of my TV to my desktop vga. I was not getting any signal out that way because it wasn't a outputed adapter I believe? Hopefully this works

The mouse and keyboard will still be connected to the PC. You can get a wireless Mouse/Keyb combo to make things easier

For some reason for me after my first use and switching my Hdmi back to my Xbox from my PC. I went to go back on the PC hoping to just change hdmi from Xbox to my adapter for my PC. I ended up trying switching the ends of the HDMi which worked. I then changed back and a few days later went back to my pc. Neither ways around work, I can’t get any signal anymore. I don’t understand and there’s no solution as if the problem does not exist for anyone else

It will work if the pc has the right outputs (vga and headphones) but it will transpose the resolution as it is . It doesn't upscale it. Also , if your old pc doesn't have a USB port, you should power the device somehow

So these are the multilanguage videos I heard of, good video by the way, the thing is I´m looking for an adapter hdmi to vga that supports many resolutions since my monitors are not compatible with 1080p nor 480i and there is some problems with devices on 50 Hz it's a mess right? this is what I get for trying to use my videogame consoles to a monitor.

Do you think it would work powered at the TV end? I have a VGA cable way away from the PC but the new TV has a USB socket. I think i'd also need a FEMALE-FEMALE ADAPTER for the VGA as my cable is VGA male.

Plug the adaptor directly in your VGA port without a cable. I cannot tell about your TV, you should see the manual to see if it provides power to its USB port. If it does, then it will power up the converter

@@cyberluke 1024x768 is 1.33:1 and 1080p is 16:9. One is closer to a square at a pixel level and the other is a rectangle. The 1024x768 will fit in 16:9 with black bars on the side. Why would you stretch it?

Hey man help meh out.. My CPU doesn't have an HDMI port its old it has VGA port I am buying the new Benq Möbius ex2510 144hz monitor that's had HDMI port no VGA port So will this VGA to HDMI converter work and give 144hz or it will get reduced to 60hz in monitor

So i bought a converter where the VGA will be connected to the converter then the converter to the monitor. It will work but it will be limited to 1080p. In fact the TV in my review is 4k but the max resolution I got is 1080p

Wait so what your saying is that the cable can only display 1080p I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS since whenever I install windows 8.1 or 10 I get 1080p for once and after a restart I only get 728p and things look very big and I hate it so will this cable display it at 1080p?

When using CONVERTER VGA to HDMI instead of Connecting USB CABLE to power TV, Notebook, but the correct thing would be to connect USB power cable to the TURBO CHARGER 2.1 Amper cell charger after I connected the TURBO CHARGER cell charger, it works perfect HDMI monitor image .

the fact your pc has a displayport means you dont need a vga to hdmi female adapter. A dp to hdmi adapter is always the way to go. That converter in your video is only when you really have no choice.

No it should work, my TV is 4k too. If you are using windows, try the Windows logo + P buttons, then press the down arrow twice and hit enter, it might work
