Looks like something that belongs on the Iveco official fleet. That B pillar moulding technique is ace! the fit and finish is superb Danie. I've been eagerly awaiting the new episode, thank you for sharing 👍🏽

You could put airplan style overhead storage above the cab and over the engine cover put a non permanate center console with cupholders

Looking so good man. I was thinking about some friends that have electric blinds above the windscreen in their motorhome. Imagining parking up and one click and the slide outs and electric blinds come down simultaneously. Maybe the autolevelling happens then too.

Hi, I have been throughly enjoying the motor home build. Your ideas are brilliant and the finished areas always come out much better than I expected. To me the cab really looks oem and again I was surprised at the results. I have a couple of suggestions if I may: On the passenger side floor fit an angled plate to rest the feet on like you find in a car as the passengers tend to use their legs to brace and a flat floor gives no support. Using the sleeved cables for the slide out locks is brilliant but don’t forget to make sure all the other cables and chains are wrapped or supported or their rattling will drive you mad. Lastly, maybe make the engine cover flat or have a flat cover to go over it, it seems a shame to have all that realestate for cup holders, laptops, lunch ect and not be able to use it. I thought using wiper motors was a good choice as they are considered a safety item so they are well made and rarely fail, especially Toyota motors. Cheers mate, Stuart 🇦🇺 ps, I love Japie 😘

Hi Stuart. Thanks for your suggestions. I (and the wife) especially like the foot plate idea! The problem with the cover that goes over the engine is that passangers will need to step over it when climbing in so it might become bit of an issue if I lift the footprint up for a table or install cupholders. I am concerned about rattles but can't think of anything at the moment apart from putting the cables inside a trunking of sort. Cheers!

Whoot Whoot.... Camper episode. Danie the jag is nice and all, but this is what the people really want to see, even though they don't know it yet... If you build it, they will come. Glad to see that you're still shopping at South Africa's speedshop. Where did you buy the rolls of deadener?
