Solenoids. 👍 I had thought of that. I was thinking of scrounging central locking solenoids from a car's central locking system. Much neater solution.

I’m sure there’s someone that could come up with a simple logic circuit to tie in your limit point switches and momentarily reverse the motor at each before activating the open close motion.

A simple Arduino control box should take care of the timing for unlocking.
