@@tuoitrequacgia0111 With long videos, do you have specifics? Used it to convert 6-minute clips and it works quite well. Can you update me with how the maximum duration this converter can export? Would very much appreciate it.
Hey Steve. I am trying to Convert MP4 format RU-vid videos to run it on my old Car DVD player. Please suggest what format will work best to write a CD and play on old Car DVD. I don't have USB option in Car. Please suggest best options. Thanks
I'd expect that to play a video on your car's DVD player, you'll need to create a DVD. You can't do that with this program. You'll need a DVD authoring program.
Thank you Steve, for educating on the great features of this program. I originally downloaded handbrake because my iphone videos were uploading onto my computer upside down. I have followed every tutorial to flip these video's over and they are still upside down. I have executed two different version of flipping. One is to select "Video" and enter the code ", --rotate=3" and the other is to select "Filters" and adjust 180*. Neither option is working. Have you got any suggestions? Please and thank you.
Hi Steve. Thank you for this video. I am having a problem uploading videos that have the MXF file format into premiere pro. I downloaded handbtake as instructed and changed the settings accordingly. The problem I am facing with this software is it does not convert the entire video. It only converts a portion of the video (like 3min of 15min). Have you ever had a similar problem, if so, how did you solve it?
I've never had that problem, even with longer videos. So it's possible it can't handle MXF video well. But if you want to share the original video with us at Muvipix.com I'll be glad to download and see if I get the same results.
Handbrake does have a batch feature -- but I've found it occasionally misses videos in my batch so I do mine one at a time. Maybe you won't have that same issue.
Steve Grisetti I tried it with 181 small 20-30 minutes videos and it worked out great. I was able to place them into Plex Media Server and can now watch them.
i seldom use this program,But today i downloaded a video in ogv file and i never seen it before. anyway i used the Default mp4 fast 1080p and it taking 25min is this supposed to take this long??? ogv file is 7hours long video from a game thats made into a game movie(to watch as a full movie) So is this depending on myhardware or lenght of film or both+is the mp4 fast default even worth using to get a ok visual convert of this movie?? there is also other 1080 mp4 is any of these looking better? if so which one? i need it in mp4+1080p thats all Thanks 4 video
north american video frame rate is 29.97 fps NOT 30 fps although some cameras call 29.97 30 and some cameras actually shoot 30. But north american broadcast is 29.97 fps...
Wow! I’ve watched multiple handbrake videos and you explained it for the tech dummies so simple. Thank you! My video is over an hour long and takes a really long time in the encoding process. Is that normal? It takes a little under an hour.
Trying to convert to MPG file, When I select it from the video codex dropdown it still saves as M4V, I even try to change the extension to MPG but it doesn't work. I have a program that will only play MPG or MPEG files and I have to convert to them. I use Sony Vegas for it now but I think Handbrake would be quicker if I could only get it to work. Thanks
Handbrake pretty much converts everything to forms of MP4 and MKV, Zak, which are pretty much the universal language of today's video players. I don't know that you can use it to make MPGs.
I don't know how to produce a .DAT file. But a .VOB is just a standard DVD file. You can create it using a program like DVD Architect, which I've also posted tutorials for.
@@sgrisetti yes I know but I need AVI for editing a video in my old movie maker: I know you will say that it's too old but I like the ''transitions'' they have that I can't find with other video editor...excuse my bad english...
Which version of Windows are you on? If you've got Windows 10, it comes with a free Windows Video Editor that is so much better than the old MovieMaker. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Inm_Zi3gtuQ.html
I have never heard of the program not completing a conversion. Is this a particularly unusual video? Where is it coming from? What are its specs? If you'd like to explore this deeper, I'd recommend you post your question to our free Community Forum at Muvipix.com so we can help you troubleshoot the issue.
@@sgrisetti I was encoding it in 30 fps but I change it to 50fps it works...but the video is still lagging at some points...the same problem still occurs
