The Hormone Health Network, as part of its Cooking for Pleasure, Healthy for Life event at ENDO 2012, presented a moderated patient panel discussion titled "Weighing in on Acromegaly: The Patient's Perspective."
The Hormone Health Network's goal in organizing this event is to bring the unique, highly relevant perspective of acromegaly patients to center stage to discuss the day-to-day challenges patients face when managing this rare condition.
The panel discussion focused on patient-centered strategies to help foster better communication between providers and their patients, as well as practical diet recommendations for patients pre- and post-treatment.
