Hay! Hay! Hay! They go to training for months and get more and more training. Don't feed the submariners, and watch what happens. It is a great skill; you can be a chef if you leave the service. I would work for 20 years, and then I could get a fancy chef job or open a restaurant. After 6 tours in combat in Afgh, I left. Got my head together. Got an MBA from a top school. Went to the top 1 culinary school. I had to do internships at various top-drawer restaurants. But my MBA buddies from Wharto wanted to start a company overseas and lead. We made a King's ransom. We brought gobs of business to a famous restaurant for a Chinese chef. I am completely fluent in Mandarin and asked if he would teach me. He agreed. Now I can do all that. After we sold all four companies, I retired at 50. I can make anything from simple to fancy. I don't do deep fried. Most of my neighbors are rich Chinese Americans. The kids all know me and get off the shuttle and come here. They have to agree on what they want to eat. Then they send to me. They come over and swim, eat, and some sleep over if they want, but girls with girls and boys with boys, THen they study until 10PM. They go to a private academy six days a week. As a result, I get free medical care since many young mothers are US-trained doctors. I don't even have to pay hospital fees. If they hear I am sick, they come running.. They check me all the time. Great.

I guess I'll never know how they ventilate their flat tops while underwater
@stephengoldberg334
@stephengoldberg334 10 месяцев назад
How do they ventilate planes? Here iis your answer dill weed. The submarine crew needs to breathe - how do they get enough oxygen? Well, submarines have special machines that make oxygen from ocean water. They use electrolysis, which means electricity breaks apart H20 molecules to get oxygen. Fresh ,

Perhaps you should also mention that the Zumwalt class is considered a failure. Not just in regards to it's general lack of capabilities and combat readiness, but by the Navy itself. It's a Epic failure considering the amount of money and time spent on a class that has no real relevance ,and cannot perform the role it was created for.

I remember an instructor in Navy Avionics A School telling the class he’d rather have a sister in a whorehouse than a brother on a sewer pipe referring to a submarine. . I said thanks a lot, my older brother is a Chief Sonar Tech on fast attacks and my brother in law is a Chief Sonar Tech on a boomer. I worked on electronics used to hunt submarines from the air. After that I worked at EB a short time doing electronics wiring on submarines, mainly the 694 Groton. Saw the first hull sections of the Ohio come together.

When I got out after 4 years I was an AX2 in a VP Squadron. They offered me instructor duty in A school for shore duty if I re-enlisted. I didn’t see much future in the Navy. @@Chris_at_Home I was there from June 64-March '65. ATN. From there I went to DASH School in Norfolk until June then to the USS Robert H. McCard DD 822 out of Charleston until Aug. 67 when it left for Vietnam. I didn't have enough time to finish the cruise so I went the tender USS Everglades just across the pier. I was supposed to get out in Feb. '68 but they cut me lose 69 days early so I got out in December '67. I guess I'll always wonder what my life would have been like if I'd stayed.
