No! Brown the meat first, remove it and sauté the veggies. Remove them then you have all those delicious bits to make the gravy with. If you dump in the ingredients for the gravy with uncooked vegetables you lose all that flavor. The food will be cooked but it won’t taste nearly as good.
Let me teach you how to pronounce the sauce the correct way. Your going to be thinking about 2 words. 1. Rooster 2. Sheer Rooster rhymes with WOOSTER Shire is not 2 syllables and it is pronounced as one as in a see thru curtain called a SHEER. WOOSTER SHIRE WOOSTER SHEER
