The sound is so much better. I really suggest if you have a F150 these are great adds to the truck and simple & cheap as well.

Tommy, how do like the antenna Blake put on your truck? Any feedback would be appreciated. Also, how is your Roush cold air intake? MPG change? Truck feel better? Blake can you ride with your dad to work and make a hypermile tips video? Lol, thanks guys. I went to the site that sells the screen protector and noticed they also sell a PPF B pillar kit. That's a worthwhile mod given how easily Ford B pillars scratch.

Haven’t got my truck yet so I can’t say what part will work but on my last truck for the license plate lights the Pods are way better. You pop out the factory plastic lense and Insert the sealed led pod and plug it up in place of the factory connection. Looks cleaner and a lot brighter. The little led replacement bulbs always tend to generate a flicker after a year no matter how much I spend on the bulb for some reason.

Just ordered the LED license plate bulbs, thanks for the heads up! I live in Calgary so couldn't use your Amazon link. My 2022 f150 platinum is supposed to arrive next week. I ordered it Nov 17th, it was produced Feb 17 and then sat there waiting for a chip until this month. Love the channel!

Does your 5.0 have the cylinder deactivation and a plastic oil pan?

Unfortunately I do have cylinders deactivation, but the whipple will get rid of that. I’m pretty sure the oil pan is aluminum but it might be plastic, idk. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I just want to give you heads up I know you love your f150 5.0 but tell your dad my powerboost is averaging 22 mpg that is a amazing for a 150 powerboost what your dads at for mpg

Great options to purchase when I get my Powerboost. Speaking of getting my Powerboost, I ordered it on April 11 and just got a build date and Vin number for week of June 20. How long after your brother and father was there trucks delivered after build date? I ordered a Lariat 500a with max tow package and tow mirrors, power sliding rear window and bed spray.

Hi Dave, Just for Reference, I ordered a 2022 F-150 XLT 3.5L Ecoboost on 1/12/22. It was completed Built on 5/13/22 and shows shipped via Convoy to Arizona from Dearborn, Kansas. (The build date was pushed back twice from the original date of 4/25/22). My dealer told me it is expected to be at the dealership between 6/21 - 6/27. Your factory spray in bed liner may delay your shipping date a few more days after it is built as that is done offsite. I will have my spray in bed liner done from a company my dealership uses as they take out all the screws. as opposed to spraying over them like the factory liner. Also I am having my Windows tinted at the dealership, so I don't expect to take delivery until around July 1.

My truck was built the week of April 18 powerboost it’s been stuck in production ever since lol I called ford they said it’s on a chip hold and it’ll be shipped out in August But I’m sure hoping it will be shipped out sooner

I also ordered a Ford Maverick hybrid 11/14/2021 it’s been 7 months for this truck and some say I won’t receive 2022. It’s tough waiting for a new vehicle.

Hi Dave Wilson, just an update, and a bit of encouraging news. My F-150 XLT Supercrew 3.5 Ecoboost was built on 5/13/22 at Dearborn, Kansas. It actually arrived at the dealership in Arizona via "Convoy" about two weeks later, as I was told to expect (4-6 weeks delivery). I had the dealership tint the windows and spray in bedliner, and took delivery June 2nd. *Also note if you want the best discount on any OEM Ford Accessories, get them before you receive the truck directly from the Ford Accessories Website, (ie Ford rubber bed matt with "F-150 logo"), as long as you know for sure your deal is going through. As soon as you take delivery, you only get the 10% discount instead of 25% discount while waiting on your truck. I was disappointed the logo rubber bed Matt Regular $180, less 25% ($135 ) increased to ($162). Same with rear plastic wheel liners. Might as well buy aftermarket Husky liners or some other brand.

Hey I just purchased a foam cannon. I went with the chem guys because of the metal connectors and ability to adjust foam depending on the soap (you’re not locked down to a single car soap). I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting to keep our new babies clean after a day of playing in the mud, what do you use to maintain the shine? Maybe a new vid idea?

Is that the new Arcadia half ton fifth wheel, and if so are y'all pulling it with any of your new F-150s? I was looking at those and loved them but looking at the numbers seemed a little heavy for the truck.

If you have a 5.0 or 3.5/powerboost then you’ll be fine. Sumo springs or active suspension will also help make it a piece of cake. Especially 5th wheels because they are so much more stable than a trailer. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Quick Question about something in the background. What do you use to tow your fifth wheel? I'm thinking about using my Powerboost to tow a 28 foot fifth wheel.

5.0 to tow. I’m not 100% the powerboost can tow a 28 but look at your dry weight. Also if it’s a little close( as in not above your tow rating but close to it “within 300lbs”) look into some towing upgrades that will help you like breaks and some sumo springs or active towing rear suspension. So now having the truck for a few months how do you feel getting the 5.0 motor. I ordered the Ford F-150 XLT Sport V6 3.5 twin turbo but I found a dealer with the same truck but with the 5.0. I wanted the V8 but dealers we're not getting them in stock. This dealer had the 2022 F-250 diesel Super Duty witch I got already but how do you feel with the V8 over the V6. Thanks hope your loving your truck.💯👍🇺🇸

I’ve only had my 5.0 for a little over 3 weeks. I love it. It’s much different than the powerboost and if I wasn’t gonna supercharge it then I’d go with the PB. Looks like things worked out for ya though. Thank you for watching and commenting!

My F150 Tremor is getting delivered next month. I see some people doing the screen protector and others not. What is the reason for doing it? I mean, I know it's to protect against scratches, but how is the screen going to get scratched in the first place? I have a 2008 Hummer H3 right now, and after all these years of using the touch screen there isn't a scratch on it.

I did it mainly for the finger prints. I got a matte screen protector so I’d never see them.
