Very well demonstrated! I have been using this method for a while (when I hang a bear bag) and I believe it is the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) method. Much easier than trying to tie the tail of the rope off to a tree to hold it up. 👍🏻

I gave your video a like for two reasons. Reason number one was the content and reason number two is that you pronounced marlin spike correctly. After having served four years in Uncle Sam's favorite Canoe Club I hate to hear the words bowlin and marlin spike pronounced incorrectly. I was a Seabee but Navy is Navy and a bowling is a bowling and a marlin spike is a marlin spike. You nailed it.
